Just two days before Christmas, the social media sensation decided to share a recipe with her followers this holiday season.

“My Delicious New York Cheesecake SECRET – My Holiday Gift to YOU,” she wrote in the caption. “This has been my secret recipe for years and my CHEAT EAT if ever there was one. And now you can enjoy it too.”

“Although the cheesecake looks complicated, this cake is very easy if you follow all the steps here. If I can make it, YOU CAN,” he continued. “Follow these steps and you’ll have the most DELICIOUS Cheesecake EVER! Do it tonight and you’ll impress your guests tomorrow and the day after that.”

He added a note that it was “very important” to bring all ingredients to room temperature before baking. “I usually leave my eggs in the fridge but, everything comes out of the fridge in about 20 minutes,” she added, writing an ingredient list for her followers:

– 1.5 graham cracker crumbs – 2 cups white sugar – 1/2 cup finely chopped unsalted pecans – 3/4 cup melted butter (about 2 sticks) – 1 tsp cinnamon – 1/4 tsp nutmeg – 3/4 cup milk – 1 cup sour cream – 1 tablespoon vanilla extract – 4 eggs – 4 (8oz) packages cream cheese

She also wrote a list of instructions for both the crust and the cake itself:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Grease a 9-inch springform pan.

Crust – in a bowl mix:– 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs– 1/2 cup white sugar– 1/2 cup finely chopped unsalted pecans (walnuts, almonds can also be used)– 3/4 cup melted butter– 1 teaspoon stick sweet – 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Mix well and press DAMPLY into a 9″ springform pan.

Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together:– 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese with– 1.5 cups sugar until smooth.– Whisk in 3/4 cup milk– Then mix in 4 eggs, ONE AT A TIME, stirring gently just enough to incorporate– Mix 1 cup sour cream and 1 tablespoon vanilla until smooth

Pour the mixture into the prepared crust.

“We will cook the cheesecake in a WATER BATH. Use a pan that is larger than a pan and fill it about 1/4 to 1/2 way with warm water,” he explains. “Cover the bottom of the cheesecake pan with foil to keep water out (if there is, that’s actually fine and preferable) then place in a water bath.”

“Cook for 1.5 hours. Then turn off the oven. Leave the oven door closed allowing the cheesecake to cool for about 5 hours. Refrigerate overnight and ENJOY,” she concluded, adding, “Happy Holidays.”

Fans Have Mixed Feelings About Sanada’s Cheesecake Recipe

While some fans thanked her for the recipe, others weren’t a fan of some of the ingredients she used. “Refined sugar???!!! That’s really poison,” commented one user. “I don’t use it all the time. It is very, very rare. But sometimes you just have to treat yourself,” replied Senada.

“Use agave syrup instead of sugar, especially white sugar,” another follower commented. “Unfortunately, agave syrup is not healthier than regular sugar, and it will also throw off the resulting ratio of ingredients and texture,” commented another fan while others explained, “Agave syrup is higher in Fructose, which the liver will easily convert into fat. Although Fructose from fruit is not bad because of the fiber content, when adding caloric sweeteners to food, Agave is not the best choice from a health point of view.”

“Sorry, I’ll pass… Looks like a gallbladder attack on a plate, haha,” another netizen chimed in. “You don’t have to go on a diet to not get a gallbladder attack… This recipe is horrible, that’s all… Full of garbage process. Anyway, make the cheesecake but I would avoid a lot of the ingredients he put in it,” they said later in response to fans who told them not to comment if they didn’t like the recipe.
