“Even though it was the scariest and hardest day of my life having an emergency C-section, I’m so happy with the birth of my daughter,” she told US Weekly. The “Ridiculousness” host, 34, has shared a photo of her beautiful baby girl on Instagram and her fans are overjoyed for her.
After experiencing a high-risk pregnancy and difficult delivery, the MTV host is thankful to be home “happy and healthy” with her daughter. “He is healthy and happy as can be. She is perfect in every way for me and her dad and we are so grateful to have her in our lives,” he said.

Chanel announced the arrival of her daughter on Instagram and explained her difficult birth. “After hours of labor, I finally gave birth to my baby girl via C-section,” she wrote in an Instagram story. The story goes on to say she had some complications and her daughter “didn’t want to just come out.” She explained that giving birth was “the scariest yet happiest day of my life so far” and that she had “never felt love like this before.”
Chanel originally revealed that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Dom Fenison during the MTV Movie and TV Awards in June when she walked the red carpet. From that moment throughout her pregnancy, she shared her growing belly button so that her fans and followers could experience the journey with her. As she approaches the start of her new chapter as a mother, Chanel opens up to E! News about her pregnancy. “It’s not the easiest when you start getting really, really big. My face started to swell a little,” he said. “When people were taking pictures, I asked, ‘Hey, can you raise it a little bit so we don’t have double chins?’ But I also realized that it was wonderful to be pregnant.”
Chanel says despite all the changes throughout her pregnancy, she continues to feel beautiful. “It doesn’t matter what you look like during pregnancy, it’s a very beautiful thing and it’s all about how you present yourself,” she explains. “Even with my bloated stomach and swollen legs and arms, I still put on the glam, keep my hair and make-up done, put on cute clothes and I just go out there and rock it like I’m not pregnant at all. ”
