Through his attorney, Tatum has explained the need to schedule a hearing for the long-standing financial aspects of his and the House’s settlement.

He stated that although he has made many attempts to settle the dispute out of court with the House, they have yet to make progress.

The “She’s the Man” star stated that he and his ex-wife chose to deal with the end of their marriage in stages, with their “Judgment for Status Dissolution Only” officially documented by the Court on November 20, 2019.

Following that, they reached a stipulation on all custody matters on February 11, 2020. As detailed in the document, they agreed to share both legal and physical custody of their daughter, Everly Elizabeth, with a 50-50 split in physical custody.

Since the 43-year-old man and the dancer acquired the property after their separation, they also need clarification on legal ownership.

Their “Not Magic Mike Business Interests”, which include various investments and businesses, also require a legal determination to be disposed of.

Although he insisted that the House did not make any order for temporary support, he wanted the court to end the wife’s support forever.

His reasons for moving included his ex-wife of nearly six years living with her fiancé, Steve Kazee, with whom she shares one child and is currently pregnant with another.

He stipulated that in addition to working and being able to support himself, the House would receive half of the rest of the community’s property and royalties.

Tatum’s filing follows the House’s assertion in a legal document that it faces challenges in determining each party’s financial obligations. The issue, he claims, mainly revolves around money made from “Magic Mike,” the comedy film Tatum worked on during their marriage.

As detailed in the papers obtained by The Blast, he and Tatum contributed financially to the Hollywood project.

However, Dewan alleges that Tatum and his business managers concealed and understated the value and profits of “Magic Mike” and its sequels through an elaborate network of companies and partnerships.

The House is petitioning for an order requiring Tatum to provide a report to The Tatum Family Trust, which is said to be one of the repositories for the film’s earnings.

In the filing, his legal team stated that if communal funds remain in the trust, Tatum must repay the House with half of the funds he transferred to the trust.

If the trust continues to receive proceeds from the “Magic Mike” project, his “Step Up” co-star must hand over his share.

Hall is also seeking court approval for his eligibility for an equal share, equal to half of Tatum’s holdings, in the upcoming “Magic Mike” venture.
