The “Hotline Bling” rapper, who is known for flaunting his money, just spent a lot of money on a diamond necklace made from several pieces of a diamond engagement ring.
The intricate piece was made from 42 engagement rings that Drake previously thought were gifts to women planning to marry.
Captioning her Instagram feed, celebrity jewelry designer Alex Moss noted that the bling consisted of “42 engagement rings, 351.38 carats in diamonds.”
Charlamagne Tha God Calls Drake’s Behavior ‘Crazy’

In a recent video on the channel’s “Hell of a Week,” radio host Charlamagne called out Drake for purchasing his diamond necklace.
“Drake got a new necklace made of 42 engagement ring diamonds, each diamond said to represent the woman he’s thinking of proposing to,” Charlamagne explained. Page Six.
He then went on to call out the rapper on his “crazy behavior” while telling him to “get over the pain,” while comparing his ring count to that of basketball player Lebron James.
“Most of us, unless we’re J.Lo, find one, maybe two people that we want to propose to in our lifetime, but you have 42 different women that you want to propose to. And why do you buy a new ring every time? Why not buy a really nice ring and wait until you find a really nice woman to give it to, okay?”
Drake’s Necklace Could Be Worth $12.5 Million

The “Rich Flex” rapper’s jewelry may be worth as much as $12.5 million, according to reports Page Six.
Diamond expert Zack Stone was quoted as saying that the necklace, which honors all the women Drake almost proposed to, could be worth a ridiculous amount of money.
“Drake’s ‘Previous Engagements’ necklace is stunning jewelry and possibly the most stunning we’ve seen since Kendrick Lamar wore his diamond crown of thorns during his Glastonbury headline set in June,” the diamond expert told the media.
“A beautiful piece like this is difficult to value, especially without information about the quality, but it appears to be worth about $12.5 million,” the jewelry expert said.
He went on to say that “pear-cut diamonds are a timeless vintage cut that represents an emotional bond or connection,” hinting that the rapper may be honoring rather than mocking his failed relationship with the piece.
Fans Think Drake May Need a ‘Better Therapist’
Following Alex Moss’ Instagram feed, several fans expressed their thoughts on the rapper’s necklace.
In pointing out how many times Drake almost took a knee, one particular fan said, “42 times??? Drake needs a better therapist.” Another curious fan wrote, “I wonder which one is Rihanna?”
“This is the smallest, most toxic and most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” said one fan.
Another fan wasn’t having it when he said, “Americans are starving, homeless, dying from diseases they can’t afford medicine or surgery to treat or cure and he sees fit to spend 13 million on this display of narcissism.”
While it’s not known who the diamond was meant for, the rapper has been linked to several A-listers over the years, including Rashida Jones, Tyra Banks, SZA, Julia Fox (before she dated Kanye West), and Rihanna.
The Grammy-winning musician is father to 5-year-old Adonis, who he has with former porn star and French artist Sophie Brussaux.
