Charli D’Amelio Shares Thoughts On Chase Hudson’s Diss Song

Social media influencer Charli D’Amelio has responded to Chase Hudson’s track about it.

The pair were first romantically linked in December 2019 but announced their plans to split just months later in April 2020.

Although Charli has since moved on to a new relationship with Landon Barker, Hudson still harbors a grudge about her previous relationship with TikTok. He released the song “All The Things I Hate About You,” which has since gone viral and is rumored to contain several jabs at his ex.

Speaking on the BFFs podcast with Josh Richards, Bri Chickenfry and Dave Portnoy, D’Amelio finally responded to Hudson’s latest song, “All The Things I Hate About You,” which has gone viral for its lyrics.

In the song, the singer seems to take a hard shot at her ex, containing lines that call him a “showmaker, bad liar, homie hopper, drama starter.” Hudson also claimed that the TikToker betrayed him without any remorse.

In response to the diss, Charli took the high road and joked about it when she was asked how she felt about the song.

“I like people to think about me to write songs about me,” he said during the episode of the podcast that aired on October 5, each E! News.

Charli also shared that she has no regrets about ending her relationship with Hudson and that her life has been going well ever since.

“I’m happy with my life now,” added Charli, “and I don’t regret anything that happened.”

Elsewhere on the podcast, Charli’s sister, Dixie D’Amelio, recalls how she showed her sister that her new beau, Barker, was good enough for her.

“When it happens, I prepare. I just looked at it and was like, ‘Why don’t you talk to Landon?’” Dixie shared on the podcast, per E! News. “’He seems like a good kid. Your type I guess.’ And I don’t think about it anymore, I’m being a good sister.”

As for her relationship with Barker, Charli says she really followed her heart when she agreed to begin their romance.

“What’s happened is that for these two years, I’ve put what everyone thinks of me above my own happiness, and this is the first time I’ve really listened to my heart,” he said. “If that creates drama for other people, that’s their right to deal. I’m happy. He’s happy and that’s all.”

On Monday night’s episode of the show, Charli continued her run in the competition, which has been going on for several weeks.

Talk with Entertainment Tonightthe amateur dancer shared that she was happy with the support she received from lovers, friends and family,

“I think it’s great to have my friends and family here to support me. It must mean a lot,” Charli, 18, told the publication.

“I try not to look at them when I’m performing, because it makes me nervous,” Charli added. “But it’s always nice to see them afterwards, and just talk to them, and have them see me doing something that I really enjoy doing. They never get to see me dance! So it was a lot of fun.”
