Chase Chrisley Fondly Remembers Imprisoned Dad Todd With Throwback Pic

Chase Chrisley is keeping his father’s memory alive amid the patriarch’s incarceration on charges of fraud and tax evasion.

Todd and Julie Chrisley’s eldest son lost his parents to the law following their joint 19-year prison terms. The infamous couple are already months into their long term, but it feels like an eternity has passed for their children.

The couple’s parents are actively raising awareness of the couple’s ordeal, claiming that the couple are in dire straits. Their eldest son recently reflected on how he longs for his father’s presence by taking a trip down memory lane.

In his latest Instagram Story update, Chase Chrisley Collection founder shared an image of an old Polaroid photo. The printed snap is creased and torn at the edges, showing the wear and tear of time with its grainy appearance.

The photo captures what appears to be a children’s Christmas party with a man dressed as Santa Claus in the background, surrounded by small children sitting on the ground. A child, a blond man in a red sweater and baggy jeans stood out.

The little boy flashed a beaming smile for the camera with a slight tilt of his head. Fans of the show “Chrisleys Know Best” may be familiar with this pose because it screams Todd. As suspected, the dashing kid is indeed a real estate mogul, which Chase confirmed with the caption: “Missing you pops, @toddchrisley.”

The entrepreneur’s longing for his father might have been less painful for the 27-year-old if he had known that his father had not suffered under allegedly deplorable prison conditions. During an appearance on the “Chasin’ Birdies” podcast in May, eldest son Chrisley lamented his parenting dilemma.

“Their terms are very good. Like, everybody’s acting like my dad at some country club,” lamented the reality TV star, claiming: “They become like black mold [where my dad is], and my mother’s place is worse. I mean, he doesn’t have air conditioning. They are in the camp. It’s better than being behind a wall.”

Despite their alleged bad situation, Chase stated that he and his younger sister, Savannah Chrisley, never missed a weekend visit. “Savannah is going to see my father; I’m going to see my mother. We would take turns, and Savannah would usually bring the kids [Grayson and Chloe] down with him,” he explained.

Between navigating their lives without their parents, the 27-year-old and his siblings fight to change the system they hold responsible for their unfair situation. In the words of the performer: “Our system is very broken, but that’s not new. I mean, there are so many both convicted felons sitting in jail and not having the resources to fight back.”

Chrisley’s children are actively working to make significant changes to ensure that others do not experience this alleged injustice. “That’s what my sister and I are working on, is prison reform and trying to help people with their re-entry when they get out, help them find jobs, give them some stability,” revealed the scented candle business owner.

Chase Chrisley Claims His Family’s Upcoming Series Will Be All Over The Air

Days before missing Todd’s presence, the “Growing Up Chrisley” star opened up about her family’s upcoming reality TV show. According to the entrepreneur, the untitled program will reveal all the drama in the clan’s life.

The series marks Chrisley’s return to TV following the cancellation of her USA Network show over a cheating scandal. Addressing their comeback, Chase says it’s time for the family to share their truth and get rid of third-party stories.

“What we’re not going to do is lie down and get back at anybody, and we’re going to broadcast it,” the 27-year-old declared, noting that the tribe no longer tolerates unsolicited narrators. The eldest of the parents said:

“With everything we’ve been through, there’s been a lot of people who have spoken up and tried to tell our story for us, so we’re like, we might as well go out there and tell it ourselves.”

When asked if she or her siblings were worried about airing their family’s legal situation, the entertainer confirmed they didn’t shy away from sharing the truth. “I’m sure you realize no one in my family has a filter, so we can give a damn what anyone else says or thinks,” Chase claimed.

“We have a broken system; we know that. It’s just our turn to experience it firsthand… We’re going to keep fighting, and that’s part of the plan, getting the truth out there and broadcasting it,” the socialite said.
