The reality TV star took to her Instagram Stories to share some insights on relationships. The reflective uploads seem directly related to his breakup with Medders as they mention key phrases like “putting yourself first” and flying solo when the other side tries to “burden you”.
His first post read, “You want to fly, you need to let go of the crap that weighs you down.” But Chrisley’s cryptic stock didn’t stop there. She followed it up with another quote that read, “The best thing I did was learn to stop fighting for someone who was okay with losing me.”
While the television personality didn’t elaborate further on the cryptic Instagram upload, the timing is certainly curious. She posted it just days after confirming her split from the “Elegant Tans by Emmy” founder.

Chrisley and Medders’ romance has had its ups and downs. They got back together in 2022 and got engaged in October of the same year after falling out the year before.
However, any hopes of reconciliation were dashed when the pair deleted each other from their respective social media pages, raising the eyebrows of eagle-eyed fans, who questioned their relationship status. Trying to clear the air, the 27-year-old released a statement on Tuesday, July 25, which read:
“Everyone has been asking a lot of questions about Emmy and myself. We have both agreed to separate and continue our separate lives. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”
The sad news comes just nine months after the TV star popped the question with a 3.5 carat oval diamond ring. The social media influencer has yet to publicly address the split, and while rumors of their split swirl, Chrisley’s siblings have also unfollowed her ex.

Long before the two “agreed to go their separate ways,” Medders revealed the breakup she and Chrisley went through before getting engaged. When two people from different backgrounds meet and decide to be together for a long time, they are bound to have disputes.
This fact is the case for exes now as Medders explains on her future sister-in-law, Savannah’s podcast, “Opening up with Savannah Chrisley.” According to The Blast, during their chat, the 26-year-old admitted that their relationship has struggled through its fair share of “ups and downs,” including “one major break.”
Recounting the fallout, the blonde beauty said, “We started talking right before COVID hit. It was on and off, and then we did really well, and then we had this, like, big breakup where we didn’t talk for like — I want to say it was two months, but it was probably more like two weeks.”

He also admitted that “[the separation] felt like two months to me.” Medders explained that the pair have continued to work on their relationship since they got back together, a move she swears has made things “great” for them.

Although the couple are no longer together or walking down the aisle, they certainly looked in love and excited for their future when Chrisley announced their engagement on Instagram.
From the photos the reality star shared, the romantic proposal took place in an empty stadium decorated with heart-shaped rose petals and entangled ring balloons.
The first slide shows Chrisley on one knee, as if popping the question, while the following snap features her holding her lover’s hand as she leads him down the field.
