Cher is allegedly desperate to save the life of Elijah Allman’s son before he succumbs to his substance abuse battle.
According to reports, the music legend staged an “extreme intervention” to save Elijah after a troubled six-month stay at the Chateau Marmont hotel.
This comes amid news that Cher sent four men to “kidnap” Elijah in 2022, as he tries to reunite with his estranged wife, Marieangela King.
Cher ‘Scared’ Her Son Will Die

A report has shed light on Cher’s fears about her son, Elijah Allman, who is battling drug addiction. Elijah had previously experimented with various drugs as early as 11 years old.
The “Believe” singer allegedly “scared” her 47-year-old son “that he might die” if she didn’t intervene while at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles. On September 14, her fears seemed to worsen with reports of hotel staff finding Elijah’s unconscious body.
A source stated this, “Elijah is not well. When Cher was told that she had been found unconscious outside the hotel, she went into extreme intervention and called 911 and had her moved to a treatment facility.”
Adding, “Cher is desperate to help her son. He was afraid he might die if he didn’t do something drastic.”
Cher Allegedly Sent Four Men To ‘Kidnap’ Elijah

The Chateau Marmont incident wasn’t the first time Cher took emergency action to get her son professional help. According to Elijah’s estranged wife, King, Cher sent four men to kidnap him from the hotel room they shared in New York during the week of their anniversary in November 2022.
King, whom Elijah met in Germany, discussed the abduction in a court declaration for their divorce proceedings. When Cher intervened, she claimed they were trying to reconcile their differences and save their marriage. However, King stated that he knew it was done out of concern for Elijah’s health problems and drug abuse. In other words, it was another intervention, not an actual kidnapping.
He said, “On November 30, 2022, the night of our wedding anniversary, four people came to our hotel room and removed (Elijah) from our room. I was told by one of the four men who brought him that they were hired by his mother.”
In the statement, King claimed to have no knowledge of Elijah’s “well-being or whereabouts” but knew he was currently “locked up in a treatment facility.”

Elijah is Cher’s son from her marriage to the late musician Gregg Allman. The couple had a troubled relationship for years, and he reportedly went months without speaking to her.
A close friend of the music legend recently opened up about the singer’s son-in-law’s claim that he kidnapped Elijah.
The friend told Page Six that Cher was trying to save her son’s life, so she hired four men to kidnap him and only had “the best and best intentions possible.”
They further stated that “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” actress is fighting to save Elijah from his substance abuse problem: “Cher is an amazing mother; All the years I’ve known her, I’ve just seen her be the best, most amazing, giving mother.”

In King’s filing, he also accused Elijah of failing to properly pay spousal support, which forced him to rely on relatives for finances and accommodation.
He wrote, “I only received the sum of $25,000, half of the support owed. I have lost housing and health care and had to leave the country to stay with relatives for a while.”
King told the court that after Elijah began another stay at a rehab facility, Cher asked him to leave their home. His declaration read, “I was not allowed to take all my belongings from our home and main residence, nor was I given the opportunity to inventory our assets.”
King also claimed to the court that Cher blocked him from accessing the shared storage unit of their assets. The unit reportedly contains a variety of “art, antiques, all of our furniture from our second home we own together in Beverly Hills and other assets accumulated during the marriage.”
Cher, who recently reconciled with her boyfriend, Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, has yet to comment on the allegations made by King.
