Chilli has revealed that her relationship with actor Matthew Lawrence is the “real” deal. After months of speculation, the singer, a member of the iconic girl group TLC, confirmed her relationship with the actor in January.
She has now shared that Lawrence changed her view on relationships and she never imagined she would feel so deeply about it. In a separate interview, she discussed having a child with the actor, saying that it was possible but that she would have to get married before it happened.

The two had been friends for years before reports surfaced last summer that they were an item. The TLC singer told everyone who would listen that their romance was “real and there was nothing fake about it.”
He said, “I’m here with him because I want to be, and he wants to be. We are very happy, we are happy.”
Chili also states that she had no idea they would connect so deeply and that her presence in his life changed everything.
The “Scrubs” singer said, “I honestly never thought I’d be going through what I’m going through right now, and I’m OK with that…He’s changed everything, including the way I look at relationships. It’s so different.”
The Duo Is Open To Having Children In The Future
Although their love is at a sweet stage, the possibility of marriage is still unknown, although Chilli did not rule it out during the interview. If she does marry, the singer is open to expanding her family, despite already sharing a child, Tron Austin, with her ex, Dallas Austin.
“I would never say that [I’m done with families]”said Chilli while speaking during his appearance on the radio show “Ryan Cameron Uncensored”, per Page Six.
Chili’s boyfriend also told E! News that he would like to see the mother of one become a mother of two, but that will be much later.
“He is an extraordinary person,” he said. “She is already a mother; he has an amazing son. I really respect the way he raised her. She’s going to be an amazing mom again, and I’m lucky, but that’s the way things go in the future.”

Earlier in March, Lawrence opened up in an interview with Entertainment Tonight about some of the characteristics of Chile that captivated him.
“He just had, you know, his morals and his values,” the actor said. “The way he treats his family. He loves my family, very important.
He also mentioned that they have a lot of chemistry, which has helped them overcome obstacles in their relationship.
He added, “We are compatible. We’ll be on the phone, and he’s like, ‘My mom called me.’ I was like, ‘Get it. I know how important that is.’ The same thing my mother called me. It’s not like, ‘Why are you talking to your mom?!’ It’s like, ‘Oh, your mom. Go talk to your mom, you know?”
Matthew Lawrence Was Previously Married To Cheryl Burke

Before playing Chilli, Lawrence was married to Cheryl Burke for three years. The latter filed for divorce in February 2022, although the separation was finalized in September 2022.
“I know I’ve always said I’m an open book with you guys, I try to be, and in writing this, I’ve realized there’s no easy way to announce that my marriage is ending,” Burke told her fans about her decision to end her marriage to the actress that, per US Weekly.
He added, “I hope you can understand that I will not comment further now and ask for understanding and privacy. Thank you all for all the kind words and support you have given me.”
The couple reportedly separated due to “irreconcilable differences.” They did not greet any children while they were together.
