Chris Appleton is ending things with Lukas Gage less than a year after they walked down the aisle.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Appleton, best known as Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist, filed for divorce and wants the court to end either party’s ability to pay spousal support.

In a case filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Appleton filed to dissolve her marriage to Gage after just six and a half months of being husband and wife based on “irreconcilable differences.”

The document lists their separation date as October 11, 2023 and their wedding date as April 22, 2023.
Remember that the couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony officiated by the celebrity hairstylist’s famous boss, Kim Kardashian. Their ceremony was also documented on the family’s hit show, “The Kardashians.”
Appleton and Gage have no children together, so there will be no custody or child support issues. For spousal support, the famous hairdresser asked the court to end the ability for any couple to be given support.
The “White Lotus” actress and the hairdresser had an ironclad prenuptial agreement as stated in the document. As for the separation of their assets and debts, Appleton wants to do so “pursuant to the parties’ Prenuptial Agreement executed on May 3, 2023. All assets and liabilities of each party are their separate property.”
The same goes for the rights to the community’s property and assets acquired during their short union. Appleton also wants attorney fees to be paid by him and Gage.
Gage and Appleton first sparked romance rumors in February after they posted about a trip together to Mexico and flirted with each other in the comments.
In no time, they went public with their relationship, making their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood and TikTok Celebrate Vanities: A Night For Young Hollywood events. The ex-lovers rocked matching white and black outfits, adding further fuel to the romance rumours.
However, during a New York Times interview published a day later, Appleton became vague about her love life when asked about their flirty Instagram posts. “If they want to think like that, they can. I’m pretty open about most things in my life, but I have a problem with the culture of everyone having to know everyone’s business and nothing being sacred,” she said of fans’ interest in her love life. “It’s a weird line that I’m still trying to figure out.”
Finally, during an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” the creative director for hair care brand Color Wow confirmed she and Gage are an item. “I’m so happy. So in love, and I feel so grateful to be able to share my time with someone so special,” she told Drew Barrymore. “Love is a very special thing, and I think meeting someone you connect with is true -really special.”
The “Euphoria” actress shared similar sentiments during her appearance on the Today Show a week later. “I feel very happy, very lucky and very much in love. He is a handsome man. Something about being in London, I felt the Brits and couldn’t help myself,” Gage said of his partner.
In April, Gage and Appleton sparked engagement rumors, with a source close to them telling People Magazine, “Friends in their circle must have been surprised by how quickly it happened, but they’re happy for them. They look like the real deal.”
