Chris Cuomo couldn’t contain his laughter Tuesday when a popular TikToker with Tourettes Syndrome pushed him and repeatedly cursed him in an uncensored interview — including calling him a “fat a–.”
“F–k off, f–k off, f–k off … F–k you, Chris,” Baylen Dupree, 21, who uses his channel to raise awareness about neurological disorders, said throughout the interview.
NewsNation’s normally straight-faced host “Cuomo” smiled several times during the four-minute chat, but maintained a sense of professionalism as he listened to Dupree — who has 9 million followers — spout off-hand profanity as he described his daily struggle with relentless tics.
She was hysterical, however, and had to hide her laughter behind her hands as the social media star spent several moments suffering from severe tics that forced her to squint and wave her arms around cursing.
“Go yourself, Chris! Little weiner kid, Banana up your a–! Butter your own cookies, you fat–!” Dupree said.
The usually straight-faced Cuomo smiled several times during the four-minute chat.
Not letting the tics slow her down, Dupree jumped back into the conversation and shared how she received a comment from a “bad guy” who told her that her parents “deserved to die in a car accident because I faked my condition.”
Cuomo scrambled to his feet and wore a serious expression as he listened to the college freshman share how dangerous his life has been since achieving online fame.
“I had to get the police out of my house because people told me where I was and said they would come and burn my house down. It’s crazy,” Dupree said as Cuomo solemnly shook his head in disapproval.
Tourette’s syndrome affects as many as 1.4 million children and adults across the US, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Dupree was officially diagnosed with the disorder in 2018, although he had shown signs since his childhood. His symptoms worsened during the outbreak.
Tics can be made worse by high-stress or -anxious situations — such as appearing on a national news program.
In a pre-interview segment, the actor admitted he was initially one of many who believed he was a “great comedian” who had faked his disorder for attention.

He claims his opinion has since been changed and that he deliberately aired the interview uncensored to show off his “bravery.”
“He said some pretty ugly things by accident,” Cuomo said with a laugh. “And I laugh because I understand about it. And that’s why I don’t care. It’s not a curse word to be mean and the difference is important.”
With an even stronger sense of professionalism, Dupree shrugged off the 53-year-old’s repeated laughs and used his limited time to share his hope to inspire others not to feel embarrassed or ashamed of their unruly behavior.
“I get thousands of DMS, from parents, from teachers, from girls who have been diagnosed with Tourette’s and they have to be expelled from school for seeking attention because they tear up their homework or do things like that … I’ve had parents called me asking me, ‘Oh, my son came home with a girlfriend and his girlfriend has Tourette’s Syndrome,'” Dupree said of the community he’s built around his TikTok.
