Since he welcomed his only child, Austin has often shown how he and Ice-T adore and pamper the little girl, usually causing a stir and backlash online. That didn’t play into his actions when he uploaded a sweet photo of the six-year-old on Instagram. In a photo Austin — real name Nicole Natalie Marrow — shared with her three million followers, Chanel was seen sharing a shy smile while wearing a white t-shirt, jean jacket, a pair of pink tights and a matching hair bow that held her dark hair in place.
The first grader also matched her look with pink sneakers and a sign to celebrate her first day of school. The board came with various prompts for Chanel to fill out, including a list of her “favorite things”, which included drawing, dancing and making food.

Chanel stated that she plans to follow in her father’s footsteps by becoming a “singer” when she grows up through the board. It also includes the teacher’s name and his school, “great!” Her mother chose a simple caption that read, “My baby……[tears emoji]. Must be a bittersweet day.”
He also included the hashtags “#1stdayofschool” and “#1stgrade,” on the post, which has nearly seven thousand likes. While some people sent first-graders “happy first day of school” greetings, one wrote, “Wow, beautiful handwriting on a little Missing Tea.” Another commenter told Austin, “coco, she looks cute she’s going to do amazing,” and a third pleaded with her to “not cry so much.”

This reaction was in direct contrast to the TV personality when she posted a photo of her daughter looking annoyed sitting in a stroller during a family vacation in the Bahamas in May. The 43-year-old captioned the post with, “Wandering the @atlantisbahamas shops,” admitting that “Chanel is pretty content unless there’s something interesting to look at.”
The Blast shared that critics were quick to blast Austin for letting his six-year-old ride in a stroller, with one commenting, “Isn’t he like 6! Wish he was out of the stroller by now?!” Another critic added, “She looks like she’s been in a pram for way too long [laughing emoji].”
