He later added that an account on X, which used to be Twitter, posted his parody video without context and took his “joke as the truth.”

Matt Rife Previously Threatened Legal Action Against Plastic Surgeons

This isn’t the first time Rife’s name has been used in a viral online joke. The 28-year-old comedian previously found himself at the center of a social media storm when a Chicago-based plastic surgeon, Dr. Benjamin Caughlin, posted a video seemingly insinuating he had created “the most amazing jawline” for an unnamed celebrity client.

Rife commented at the time, “Lying about medical history is illegal, just FYI.” However, unlike the situation with Yamini, Rife’s name was not directly mentioned in the surgeon’s video, which caused fans to tease him.

They claimed the comedian was telling himself because no celebrities were mentioned in the video clip.
