Cori Broadus has good news about her health!
The daughter of legendary rapper Snoop Dogg has shared a positive update about her health with her fans and followers. After being diagnosed with lupus and struggling with high blood pressure, Cori has been on a journey to manage her condition and improve her overall well-being.
Cori Broadus Says ‘The Goal Is To Feel Better’
Despite dealing with many things regarding her general health, her positive attitude and determination to overcome her health challenges is an inspiration to others facing similar struggles.
In a recent post, he shared a video without audio showing the singer standing in front of a mirror wearing a white robe. She wore long braids, and one thing was obvious – a patch of darker skin on her face. He wrote in part via video:
“I know I’m sick & things are unfortunate, but the goal is to feel better, get better and stop all these drugs that are mentally driving me crazy ??..”
The star noted that she has experienced severe increases in anxiety, adding, “I used to be able to lie down and just relax, now you can’t tell me to sit somewhere…. 6/7 am I wake up and ready to go non-stop.”
In another slide, she captured an image showing a zip-open bag with pink and gray pill bottles with the day of the week written on them lined up on a marble counter.

Underneath the snap, he reveals that he has to take them all “every day, morning and night at the same time” while promising a quick reel showing how he fills them and explaining the purpose of each one. “I feel like I’m 75 years old. But also blessed that my lupus has been somewhat under control since I got it,” he said.
The next update is another picture of a notepad titled blood pressure, which contains a daily reading of the results. She wrote next to it, “I also have to take my blood pressure daily… It has improved since I have been on this second bp medication & also trying to cool down my salt intake.”
Earlier this month, The Blast noted that Cori was diagnosed with lupus at a very young age and also had to deal with weight gain from taking steroids. Taking to her Instagram story, she posted a picture of herself watching a cartoon on television along with the words, “I had a kidney biopsy today. I was so scared ??? after I got one, I was like 7/8.”
She returned with another photo of herself throwing a peace sign out of bed, wearing a hospital gown and head covering as she assured fans she would be back with an update.

The “Trouble” voice actress eventually told her followers that unfortunately the biopsy couldn’t be done because her blood pressure and heart rate were too high and doctors didn’t want to risk anything. That means he has to reschedule and see a cardiologist to get it properly cleared.
