Although the ‘Friends’ cast released a joint statement shortly after the 54-year-old actor was found unresponsive in his hot tub, none of them took to social media individually.
Courteney Cox’s last Instagram post was two days before Matthew Perry died, but that didn’t stop fans from flooding the comments section, calling the actor’s silence “weird” and “confusing.”

Although the five ‘Friends’ actors and actresses — Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc, issued a joint statement after Perry’s death, none of them spoke individually.
Now, fans are taking over Courteney Cox’s latest post, which, once again, has been posted before to Perry’s death, telling the actress that her silence was “misleading.”
“I meet [it] kinda weird how all the ‘Friends’ actors haven’t posted anything about Matthew Perry ??,” wrote one of his followers.
Another commented, “It’s so weird that no one is saying anything about Chandler, really why????”

“Courteney, did you know that your friend on the show passed away? At least I’ll have words of support!,” said one fan.

“We are all very disappointed by the loss of Matthew. We are more than just an acting couple. We are a family,” their statement reads. “There is much to say, but for now we will take some time to grieve and process this unexpected loss.”
The actor continued by stating, “In time we will say more, when we can. At this time, our thoughts and love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”
