Former President Donald Trump mimicked President Biden’s past awkward stage exit — pretending he couldn’t find the stairs during Friday night’s speech at the California Republican Party convention.
“Where am I?” the 2024 GOP presidential front-runner screamed with laughter from the crowd.
The comments came as Trump questioned whether the 80-year-old incumbent was fit enough to endure a second term as president.
Trump – who lost control of his New York business license on Tuesday after a judge ruled he committed fraud – mocked the vulnerable president for appearing lost and confused in a series of embarrassing moments caught on camera.
“Does anyone think he’ll make it to the starting gate?” Trump asked the audience in Anaheim, receiving a resounding “no!”
“I mean the man couldn’t find his way out of the stage. Look, this is the stage. Here is the stage. I have never seen this level of stupidity before. I have never seen it. But if I walk to the left there are stairs and if I walk to the right there are stairs,” he added.
Trump then began spinning in a tight circle behind the podium with a confused look on his face.

He then walked to the background wall and continued his frantic search before throwing up his hands in frustration.
The businessman seemed to be referring to Biden’s awkward attempt to exit the stage last October following a speech in Pittsburgh campaigning for Sen. John Fetterman.
Biden initially turned to his right, but stopped in his tracks and turned 180 degrees to the left before pointing to the exit, muttering to himself and his staff.
The embarrassing moment wasn’t the only time the commander-in-chief publicly struggled to leave the stage — he fell to the floor in June after congratulating graduating cadets at the Air Force Academy in Colorado.

The president reappeared and displayed a black sandbag on stage, indicating to the shocked audience that he had only tripped.
Just a few hours later, Biden had another accident when he hit his head on the door frame of his Marine One helicopter while arriving at the White House.
At another point in Trump’s speech on Friday night, the former president called on police to shoot shoplifters as California grapples with rising crime and brazen daylight thefts.

“We will immediately stop all looting and theft. Simply put: If you rob a store, you can fully expect to be shot as you leave the store,” he said.
“The word that they shot you will get out in a few minutes and our country, in one day, will be a completely different place. There must be retribution for the theft and destruction and destruction of our country.”
Friday’s speech was Trump’s second public campaign stop this week after skipping Wednesday’s second Republican presidential debate.
Biden appeared confused again earlier this month at the UN when he left the stage without shaking hands with Brazil’s president. The latest incident with Biden occurred after the president walked into the flag entering the stage.
Despite pulling out of the event, Trump has maintained his distance ahead of the field of GOP candidates, a survey commissioned exclusively for The Post found.
