A creep from New York was sentenced to two years in prison after he admitted groping a woman on a flight to Newark two years ago.
Ryan Manuella was sentenced by a federal judge in New Jersey last week for the attack that took place on United Airlines Flight 2021 from Denver International Airport, the Department of Justice said in a press release.
Manuella, 30, of north Cheektowaga, was sitting next to a woman in a window seat when her friend went into the bathroom and stole a pair of sunglasses, the feds said.
When the passenger returned from the bathroom, Manuella slid into the empty middle seat and began groping the woman’s thigh and groin, according to prosecutors.
The victim who “looked upset” started shaking and crying. He then shouted, “with a loud voice to get away from him.”
The woman jumped out of her seat, and asked a flight attendant for help, the criminal complaint said.
