Dad of Nardo Wick fan savagely knocked out by his entourage blasts Florida rapper for refusing to cooperate with cops

The father of a young man who was brutally beaten by members of Nardo Wick’s entourage earlier this week blasted the Florida rapper for refusing to cooperate and give authorities the attacker’s name.

George Obregon Jr., 20, is in critical but stable condition after members of the Wick’s owner attacked him when he approached the group after a concert in Tampa Monday hoping to take a picture with his “favorite artist.”

After Obregon approached Wick, whose real name is Horace Walls III, he was knocked unconscious by members of the rapper’s entourage before a second member of the gang tackled him to the ground, disturbing social media footage shows.

“Wick hasn’t spoken to us yet. What he should have done is cooperate with the police because the man was with him, they left the place together,” the injured fan’s father, George Obregon Sr., told the Daily Mail on Wednesday.

“We do not know the names of the suspects because the rapper has not identified them. [Wick] not talking. He does not want to cooperate,” he added.

While his son, who has VIP tickets to Monday night’s gig, has shown signs of improvement, Obregon Sr. could not share further details about his condition because his family is currently taking legal action against Wick.

The chaotic beating has left the whole family in chaos, according to the distraught father, who said he was unable to watch the full video of the attack which has now gone viral.

“I couldn’t finish watching the video, I wanted to watch it frame by frame to see what happened but my body couldn’t … it was such an abuse, I couldn’t understand it.”

Obregon Sr. described his son as “a genuine guy” with so many friends who loved listening to Wick’s music that he had a picture of his “favorite artist” hanging in his bedroom.

“He loves this rapper — he has a picture of him in his room, imagine how we feel! The picture is still in his room and I just want to tear it up,” he added.

The young fan’s friend and witness to the shooting, Connor Villa, told TMZ that he had walked up to Wick with his phone on top and asked for a picture when a member of Wick’s posse punched him from the side.

Wick has since contacted the Obregons, the 21-year-old rapper said in a statement Tuesday.

“I don’t condone what happened to my fan George after my show in any way,” he said.

“I expressed to him and his mum how sorry I was and worried that it had happened to him, several times before anything was broadcast or on the internet.”

The rapper, known for his 2021 hit “Who Want Smoke?,” condemned his entourage’s attack and said he “cannot control the actions of another grown man.”

“I texted his mom my number right away the night it happened,” Wick added. “I even went to make a note to try and find out who he was before his mama sent me a message. I couldn’t control the actions of other grown men, I didn’t know it was over, and I was angry when it happened.

“I tried to stop it as you can see in the video, and if someone gets a longer video, you can see how angry I am, I love and appreciate all my fans and do not condone what happened at all. not gangsta or cool in any way.”
