In addition to the symptoms experienced by Danica, people with BII can complain of rashes, anxiety, depression, and even breathing problems.
“I get so much feedback after I speak, and I get it in the most random places, like Starbucks at the airport, restaurant bathrooms or sponsor appearances. That just goes to show you how this story resonated with so many people,” Danica revealed of the public’s response to her revelation.
Saying ‘Nothing Makes Sense’
Speaking about her symptoms before she put together the BII puzzle, Danica revealed:
“My hair is not very healthy. I have gained a few pounds and I don’t know why. None of that makes sense to me. There’s no logical reason, and I’m a pretty logical person. I just wrote it to try harder and I’m getting older.”
