Pop star Dannii Minogue angrily labeled Russell Brand a “vicious predator” as early as 2006 – accusing him of creeping her out by eyeing her “great breasts” and refusing to “take no for an answer”.
The Australian singer detailed her harrowing experience with Brand from her appearance on his short-lived MTV show “1 Leicester Square” — seven years before he was accused this weekend of being a serial sex offender.
“He was absolutely crazy and quite a vile predator,” Minogue, 34, told The Mirror in a 2006 interview that resurfaced after the latest allegations.
“I certainly don’t think he’s cured his sex addiction, that’s for sure. He won’t take no for an answer.”
Minogue, sister of “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” hitmaker Kylie Minogue, claimed that Brand followed her down the corridor pestering her for her phone number even though she was “not my type”.

“Throughout the interview, he kept making shocking statements that I can’t repeat,” he told UK newspapers at the time, saying they included him commenting indecently about her “great breasts.”
“Just saying the words would make me blush,” he said.
“She always goes too far,” says the “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” actress. “Never far enough to slap him in the face, but usually too far.”
Minogue added that while Brand was “obviously very smart,” she was put off by the amount of makeup she wore.
“He’s not my type,” she said, shaking her head in disbelief at her uncomfortable experience.
Dannii Minogue’s comments from almost 17 years ago resurfaced after Brand, now 48, was accused of rape, sexual assault and abuse between 2006 and 2013 by four women in an explosive Channel 4 documentary with The Times of London and its Sunday team.

One of the anonymous accusers claims that the comedian sexually assaulted her when she was 16 and had a relationship with her at the height of his fame.
Another woman, who went by the pseudonym Nadia, said that Brand raped her against the wall of his Los Angeles home in 2012, after she refused to have a threesome with him following a consensual encounter.
Brand has denied allegations of sexual misconduct, saying in a video statement that all her relationships “have always been consensual” and blaming a conspiracy to silence her.
The Times said on Monday that more women had contacted the paper with allegations against Brand, which the publication promised would be “thoroughly investigated.”
Meanwhile. leading British politicians called on police in the UK and US to launch criminal investigations into what one conservative MP described as “very shocking” allegations against Brand.
“This merits and requires a criminal investigation, because for too long we have seen men – and the perpetrators of this type of crime are almost always men – not held accountable for their behavior and actions,” MP Caroline Nokes told BBC radio.
Max Blain, a spokesman for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, said the allegations were “very serious and concerning,” and that those making the allegations should be “taken seriously and treated with sensitivity.”
The BBC, Channel 4 and the production company behind reality series “Big Brother” — a spin-off hosted by Brand — all said they had launched investigations into the iconoclastic comic’s behavior and how complaints were handled.
Brand quit the BBC radio show in 2008 after making an offensive prank call to “Fawlty Towers” actor Andrew Sachs in which he bragged about having sex with Sachs’ granddaughter.
