Fans Praise Dave Bautista’s Dedication to Finding ‘Good, Loving Homes’ For Shelter Animals
Beginning on November 28, the ASPCA will introduce a heartfelt message from Bautista in honor of Giving Tuesday — a global initiative that encourages philanthropy on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
In the preview of the superstar’s call to action, she is seen giving an insight into her advocacy alongside a touching portrayal of her four rescue pit bulls. In the clip, the 54-year-old shares a poignant perspective, stating:
“My home is where my dogs are because there is a sense of love. I think wherever they are there is a sense of normalcy that is hard for me to achieve today.”
She went on to say that amidst her busy schedule, her dogs serve as her “happy place,” and offered insight into her rescue history. In his words:
“My first rescue dogs were Ollie and Maggie, and I’ve had them for about five years. I adopted them, and after becoming so connected to them, I became more aware of how many dogs are in shelters and need homes.
The six-time world champion added that in exchange for the dogs getting “food, water, and love,” viewers will “get a lot in return” when they adopt a pet.
Bautista is appealing to fans to either donate money or their time by volunteering at a pet shelter of their choice. He ends the video by revealing that he has a decade-long commitment to donate to the ASPCA “because they help families,” passionately emphasizing, “Please give on Giving Tuesday.”
Through the answers in the comment section, the service scene contained in the almost two-minute roll touched the hearts of many who watched it through Youtube.
“I agree wholeheartedly. My dog is everything to me. No one gives you complete and utter love like a dog,” one viewer wrote, adding, “Thank you Dave, for being the Keeper for one of the most misunderstood breeds, pitties! There are no bad dogs, but unfortunately, so many bad owners!”
A third fan claimed, “Sweet guy. I love him more now!,” while a fourth stated, “Big Dave is the best. I will always support him and the ASPCA,” and a fifth said, “You are a kind person. Thank you for what you do.”
Still in the same vein, a sixth online personality stated, “What a great guy…he made a difference to this animal.”
Marvel Star’s Time in WWE Spotlight Sacrifices His Marriage
While he’s been praised for doing right by dogs, it’s worth noting that Bautista has had his share of challenges dating back to his difficult childhood.
As detailed in his book, “Batista Unleashed,” the father of three spent his formative years in the Washington DC area when it was considered one of the poorest regions in the United States in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
The cast of “Blade Runner 2049” paints a vivid picture of a challenging environment, portraying an era where homelessness and corruption are rampant, eroding trust even in the police for honest citizens.

In one instance, the former “WrestleMania XXX” title casually revealed that three individuals lost their lives at the door before he reached the age of nine. Bautista also had trouble hitting the gym, once describing his 20s as a period he dubbed “reverse anorexia” during an interview.
Caught in a repeating cycle, he works nights as a bouncer, dedicates hours to the gym, and, upon returning home, will sleep all day, only to start the cycle all over again.
The four-time World Heavyweight Championship star adhered to this demanding schedule for a decade, and unfortunately, it took a toll on his family’s financial stability. Additionally, Bautista had a difficult time combining the demanding lifestyle of his past as a top WWE superstar with his personal life, leading to difficulty balancing the two.
Per Grungethe “Army of the Dead” performer openly admits that his year-long journey with WWE took a toll on more than one of his marriages – he’s been married and divorced three times.
“Throughout my wrestling career, I never went home. I lost my marriage to someone who was my best friend. We are still friends, but never being at home is just tearing our marriage apart,” he said.
