Musician David Guetta is reportedly set to release a remix of “Mind Your Business” about a month after Britney Spears and will.i.am first released the hit single.
The news began trending on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday night as fans expressed their excitement for the new song.

Unfortunately, not everyone is a fan of the song. “Please don’t,” commented one user. “Who asked for this?” another follower asked. “The remix no one asked for,” wrote another user.
“I love Britney but this song is horrible… I can’t get through it once,” shared another fan. Another follower had hopes that the remix would improve the song, adding, “Hopefully it will sell more than the Original and become popular. Hopefully, people will really like it.”

Shortly after “Mind Your Business” came out, the Black Eyed Peas frontman told TMZ Live that he’s “always loved working with Britney” and revealed that he actually created a new song when they collaborated on their latest single. “I can tell you from this fine-tuning experience, Mind Your Business, um, she was discussing some idea, like, ‘Hey put this on,’ and I was like, ‘Yo, Britney, this is an idea, that’s what you just gave me now, is actually a new song. This is so crazy,’” he recalls.
“He gave me this idea,” he continued. “I was like, ‘Wow, wow, wait, you can’t throw this in this song. This is a whole song in itself.’ She has an idea and an idea factory. I can only imagine that Britney is sitting on a lot of songs that she’s done with different producers. I’m pretty sure she and Pharrell probably have stuff that hasn’t been released yet.”

In a separate interview with Extra, the Grammy winner opened up about Britney’s impact on pop culture. “The icons that grew up in the ’90s – Michael Jackson and Prince – these pop icons, it’s like you grew up in the ’80s and ’90s, that’s what the icons are,” he said. “You know — Madonna, Michael Jackson, Prince, Lionel Richie. And then, in the late 90s, 2000s, you had, like the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC… Britney was the shining star for a new generation of pop stars.”

She also said that she feels “happy” from the singer, despite her divorce from actor Sam Asghari. “I don’t see Britney every day, but I see her the way a lot of people see her, and that’s what she shares on Instagram, and what I see on Instagram is joy,” he said.
“I see she likes to express herself and dance,” he continued. “I see frustration when it comes to people prying into their private lives. But I see joy. I see someone who has fought for their independence and that’s an inspiration.”
