Denise Confirms She Will Return to ‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’

Two and a half years after the “Starship Troopers” alum left “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in September 2020 after two seasons, she opened up about why she decided to step back in front of the Bravo cameras. In April 2023, he told Variety that he had “filmed several episodes” of the reality series.

“It’s fun. And you know, I’m a huge fan of the show, so it’s fun to come back and shoot a lot with them,” he said, admitting his return was unplanned. She said that it all happened “recently out of the blue” after she attended a screening hosted by cast member Garcelle Beauvais.

“I was at his screening as a friend — like a real friend — I didn’t tell anyone I was going to be there. Production does not know. I just showed up, like, in real life, as a real friend in real life,” she said, adding, “The next day, I was asked to go to some event — and so it was actually fun.”

Denise joined RHOBH in season 9, which aired in 2019, and left after two seasons. At the time, Bravo producer and host Andy Cohen told PeopleTV’s “Reality Check” that Bravo had “negotiated a deal” with her” but “couldn’t come to an agreement on the deal.” Later, Denise admitted that she “tossed and turned” before deciding to leave the show.

“I feel like I’m not caught up in it,” he said. “I really get to be myself on the show. And I think some women are different on camera and off camera. And I guess you know what? Don’t do it yourself.
