Hough originally planned to do the PSA a week ago, but he didn’t.

tWitch’s death really hit the dancers hard and Hough decided to finally sit down and make the video.

“Now I’m learning about our friend Stephen and the fact that he’s gone the same way as this guy in a matter of weeks… it’s just heartbreaking, confusing, shocking. There are so many different feelings and I’m trying to figure it out,” the ‘DWTS’ alum added. “I just wanted to express and just to say to anyone out there who is feeling these thoughts and feelings, please, please I’m begging you – I’m begging you, give people a chance to be there for you.”

Hough continued, “I know what it feels like when you’re in that dark hole that it’s never going to get better, and I’m telling you right now, I promise you it will. It gets better. So if you have those thoughts, if you have those feelings, know that you are not alone. And when I say that you are not alone, I mean that people are feeling that feeling right now. They have those thoughts, those worries now and that you are not alone. We weren’t meant to do this alone… We weren’t meant to figure this all out on our own. We aim to figure this out together.”
