Diana Jenkins Takes Drastic Precaution Amid Social Media Tension

This week has been tough for many of the ‘RHOBH’ ladies and their families.

The reality stars, who are currently starring in the twelfth season of Bravo’s hit reality series, all took a stand on social media after their fans began relentlessly harassing various family members.

Much of the online harassment has been directed at Garcelle Beauvais’ 14-year-old son, Jax Nilon, who has also been a frequent focus of social media discourse surrounding the show this season since an episode aired depicting a drunken Erika Jayne telling. high school freshman to “run amok” at his mother’s birthday celebration.

Last Tuesday, Beauvais took to Twitter to plead with ‘RHOBH’ viewers to understand the impact of online harassment aimed at her son.

Beauvais’ tweet reads, “I’m usually a very strong woman, I was raised to be strong, my life has taught me to be strong but when it comes to my children! It hurts it’s not OK I’ve cried all night just TV shows people yell at your TV throw things at your TV but leave our kids alone.”

Why Was Diana Jenkins Targeted?

Sanela Diana Jenkins, 49, joined the cast of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” during its 12th season. In the few short months since the season began airing, the entrepreneur’s time on the series has revolved around (and arguably overshadowed by) a lot of controversy.

Earlier this season, we covered Jenkins’ “racially insensitive” comments toward the owner of a Bravo fan account on Instagram, who happens to be a black woman.

According to our report, Jenkins and account owner Kristin Dionne exchanged comments back and forth, regarding an Instagram post featuring two photos of Jenkins side-by-side where she looks quite different; the post was a screenshot of Twitter where the original poster had written “My mind can’t fathom this is the same woman” above the photo.

Tensions escalated when Jenkins commented, “It’s not easy being a Black content creator.”

The exchange soon went viral and Jenkins issued an apology and attempted to explain himself.

“I thought ‘black content creator’ was a title that referred to a page that would focus on creepy content,” Jenkins’ apology began, “I copied the term because I thought that was what it meant. I didn’t realize it referred to you as a Black content creator ..”

Jenkins once again found himself at the forefront of controversy; In RHOBH’s latest social media-related scandal, some fans believe she is to blame for the rampant harassment directed at Nilon.

Diana and several of her co-stars were accused by fans on social media of hiring a bot to attack the teenager. They denied the allegations with Diana posting on Instagram that these allegations had led to death threats against her and her family.

“I have been accused of inciting hateful and unforgivable cyberbullying against Garcelle’s son. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have defended human rights all my life. There is no place for hate in this world. To those who have attacked my family and threatened our lives, you are also spreading hate and creating fear. Please stop,” Jenkins said.
