Selena Gomez wasn’t the only Swiftie on the scene, as Mariska Hargitay also attended the Eras Tour LA concert with her daughter, Amaya. Hargitay attended the same event as “Today” host Savannah Guthrie. Hargitay first shared a series of getting ready photos on her Instagram Stories in which she thanked her hairstylist for her loose, free-flowing curls that were just right. “Karma was the wind in my hair on Tuesday,” she captioned the photo, referring to Swift’s lyrics.
Later, he posted a few more photos, one with Gomez as well. Hilariously, Hargitay wore a 1989 tee, hinting at big things to come, which Taylor Swift later confirmed, as she announced the release of “1989 (Taylor’s Version),” coming October 27th!
This is confirmation!
Meanwhile, Hargitay also posted a little tribute to Swift, writing, “Still in the most magical night light. Kudos to @taylorswift for your poetry and wisdom. It wasn’t just Hargitay who supported Swift, as Gomez also attended the same event in her “Folklore” era, rocking a cool gray hoodie emblazoned with a photo of Swift. He also posted various pictures on his Instagram story, swaying and dancing to all of Swift’s songs, behaving like one of Swift’s many fans.
Back in 2020, Gomez spoke to WSJ Magazine about her and Swift’s relationship, revealing, “There’s a lot of my friendship with Taylor that people don’t know about because we don’t necessarily feel the need to post about everything we do. He has shown me in ways I never expected. Flew because I was hurt and going through something. Things that happened with my family. It has been proven year after year and in every moment of my life that he is one of my best friends in the world. We don’t agree on everything, but we respect each other with everything.”
Meanwhile, Hargitay and Gomez reconnecting today takes us back to when the older actor was featured in Swift’s video, “Bad Blood” alongside Gomez, Karlie Kloss and more. In another sweet moment during the concert, Gomez was shown hugging her 10-year-old sister Gracie, who looked a little overwhelmed and visibly emotional. Wearing a hat, Gomez hugged Gracie tightly, while accompanying Swift to sing her hit song, “Beloved.” Gomez shared the clip on her Instagram story as she smiled sweetly through the song, gently swaying with the undeniable euphoria of a Swift concert.
If that wasn’t enough, the “Only Murders in the Building” actor also appeared to show off his incredible collection of Eras Tour friendship bracelets that he sold with fans, as is his wont. “Thank you to the fans who traded with me,” he wrote while sharing the story.
Of course, since Mariska Hargitay attended the concert with her daughter, Amaya, the love was there for all to see. Meanwhile, here’s a touching Gomez and Gracie moment that made fans love the idea of Swiftie’s friendship even more.
