Diddy honors his former flame, Kim Porter, four years after her death!
The rapper and late fashion designer were in a relationship between 1994 and 2007, during which they welcomed three children — son Christian Casey and twins D’Lila Star and Jesse James.
Porter was found dead at his home in Los Angeles after a battle with lobar pneumonia on November 15, 2018. Although the late 47-year-old is no longer physically with the music mogul, he continues to remember him in his heart.
Diddy Wants His Fans To Experience The Kind Of Love He Shares With Kim Porter

Taking to Instagram, Diddy – born Sean John Combs – shared a heartfelt message alongside a memorable photo of him and Porter from their dating years. While the first slide features the Georgia-born celebrity in a white fur dress and crown, the second has her and her ex holding each other as they lean against the Rolls-Royce Corniche.
A swipe to the left revealed their son Christian — a toddler at the time, on his father’s shoulder as the family of three enjoyed some quality time in the water. Other images show Porter planting a kiss on Diddy’s cheek, the pair lovingly flaunting their love at an event, and the late dark-haired queen posing in a pool.
Although the caption is short, the 53-year-old’s feelings can be felt through it. He wrote, “Today we celebrate you on the day of your rebirth. I pray that you all can experience this kind of love. I miss you & I love you forever.”
The post has received over 200k likes and thousands of comments from fans and celebrity friends like Ludacris, Jacquees and Winnie Harlow. Fans will remember that Porter and Diddy’s relationship was one that many thought would last forever after they welcomed Christian in 1998.

However, the opposite happened when the couple ended their romance in 1999, having legal problems regarding child support for their son. In the midst of it all, Diddy and actress Jennifer Lopez dated for two years before the former Uptown Records talent director reunited with Porter in 2003.
PEOPLE recalled that they welcomed their twins in December 2006 — at the same time Diddy made it clear that he had no plans to walk down the aisle with the mother of his children. In his words:
“I know he’s worthy of marriage, but I’m not ready yet,” he said. “It’s not a reflection of how much I love Kim. It’s that I just learned how to be a good boyfriend. When I’m done with this step, I’ll move on to the next step.”
Less than 12 months after that interview, the couple broke up for the last time. Despite all the legal and romantic drama and cheating allegations against Diddy, she and Porter maintained a close bond throughout Diddy’s life as they continued to raise their three children well.
Porter stated at the time, “We’re committed to our kids even when we can’t commit to each other.”
“Draft Day” Actor Is Proud Of His Daughters Showing Their Talent At Homecoming

In October, The Blast noted that Diddy couldn’t stop himself from gushing over his twins with Porter following their homecoming performance. The Bad Boys Records founder showed off the girl’s outfit — a pom pom and dance outfit — in a now-deleted Instagram post.
The photo, featuring their half-brother Quincy — Porter’s son from a past relationship with singer-producer Al B. Sure!, was captioned, “So proud of my girls at their homecoming show! The proudest father in the world.”
Diddy recalled his initial concern that the girls couldn’t “catch the beat” when they were six years old, making him worry that they wouldn’t be able to “get trashed.” However, things soon changed when he and his family chose not to care too much about the routine anymore.
Luckily, D’Lila and Jesse made their doting dad a happy man when they “killed” with their performance, an act that Diddy must have made their late mother proud of. The “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” TV star upped the ante with four photos showing her baby girl glowing in a tiny white strappy dress.
Diddy has also taken down an Instagram post.
