Diddy Lands Third Alleged Sexual Assault Suit In Just Over A Week

Diddy’s lawyers are probably working around the clock right now as the sexual assault allegations continue to roll.

In a new twist, the 2023 Soul Train Music Awards nominee has been hit with yet another lawsuit, a third alleging sexual assault, with an anonymous plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe. The woman, filing her complaint under the Adult Survivors Act, alleges Diddy drugged and raped her in the early 1990s when she was a college student.

Diddy Hits Third Lawsuit Accusing Him of Sexual Assault

The lawsuit alleges that after meeting Diddy at a recording event, the woman and her friend were taken to singer-songwriter Aaron Hall’s apartment, where she was offered more alcohol and then forced to have sex with the rapper.

Despite the trauma she felt from the incident, she continued to be attacked by Hall who allegedly came in, pinned her on the bed she was lying on, and raped her.

He insisted his friend had also been sexually assaulted by both men. A few days later, the founder of Bad Boy Records, whose real name is Sean Love Combs, went to the woman’s house and became furious. The legal document reads:

“He got angry and started attacking and strangling Jane Doe until she passed out. Combs is looking for Jane Doe’s friends because he’s worried she’ll tell the girls he was with at the time what he and Hall had done to them.”

The lawsuit, filed in New York, asserts that Jane Doe sought medical attention and told her family and friends about the incident.

As for the second lawsuit, also filed on Thursday in New York Supreme Court, Joi Dickerson-Neal claims Diddy “abused her, sexually assaulted her, and abused her”.

Additionally, he accused record producers of creating and distributing “revenge porn.” Regarding that, a representative revealed:

“This last-minute lawsuit is an example of how well-intentioned laws can be broken. The 32-year-old Ms. Dickerson’s story is fabricated and unreliable. Mr. Combs never attacked him and he implicated a non-existent company. This is just to grab money and nothing more.”

The complaint against Diddy follows his ex-girlfriend Cassie filing a lawsuit against him last week. Cassie made multiple allegations including rape, sexual assault and human trafficking.

Although the case was settled a day after it was filed, with the settlement amount still undisclosed, it certainly encouraged others to step forward with their own lawsuits against the record executive.

Meanwhile, Cassie, who filed the lawsuit under her legal name, Casandra Ventura, was in a relationship with the top hip-hop producer for about 11 years before their breakup in 2018.

Detailing the settlement between the former couple, a statement from the “Long Way 2 Go” singer’s attorney revealed:

“This afternoon, Ms. Ventura and Mr. Combs settled the lawsuit she filed against him yesterday in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York to their mutual satisfaction.”

The lyric queen’s host, Douglas Wigdor, added, “I am so proud of Ms. Ventura for having the strength to go public with her claims. He deserves credit for doing that.”

Cassie, who is married to fitness trainer Alex Fine, also spoke about the matter, stating, “I have decided to resolve this matter on the condition that I have some level of control. I want to thank the family, the fans and the lawyers I for their unwavering support.”

Surprisingly, the settlement featured a statement from Diddy, stating, “We have chosen to settle this matter amicably. I wish the best for Cassie and her family. Love.”

According to The Blast, the decision to settle out of court may have become easier after reports emerged that the New York Police Department [NYPD] has begun looking into the criminal case against the “A Raisin Sun” actress.

However, it should be noted that the law enforcement agency later retracted the statement, citing an error in verification by their public information office. The NYPD’s retraction statement reads:

“Yesterday, a member of the NYPD’s public information office mistakenly told reporters about the apparent existence of an active case file containing the name ‘Sean Combs.’ There is no such investigation, at this time. Further, the release of such information is inconsistent with the internal policy of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information.”
