In case you missed it, Diddy welcomed Jesse and D’Lila in 2006 with his late partner Kim Porter during their on-again-off-again relationship. Since his death in November 2018, the Bad Boys Records founder has taken his role as their father seriously, doing everything in his power to ensure they enjoy a comfortable life.
So as the girl’s milestone birthday approaches, Diddy pulls out all the stops to make sure they have an unforgettable sweet 16 party, complete with giant cakes, futuristic decorations and glamorous outfits to match.
The 53-year-old kicked things off by paying special tribute to them with a sweet Instagram post featuring her girls in matching metallic silver jumpsuits with light-up glasses. She gushed in the caption:
“Happy 16th birthday to my beautiful daughters Jessie and D’lila!!! I am so proud of the intelligent and ambitious young woman you have become. I know your mom is proud and smiling at you. I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU!! I LOVE YOU!! May God continue to bless and protect you both!!”
Things soon heated up at the Beverly Hills, California venue, which was transformed to resemble a spaceship following science fiction-themed decorations. After a brief countdown, the twins were welcomed to the venue to a standing ovation, prompting guests and their doting dad to hug and wish them a happy birthday.
Throughout the party, D’Lila and Jesse changed into different outfits, including matching neon pink and white crop tops and bottoms with thigh-high boots in the same color. The 16-year-old matched their outfit with white gloves, dark sunglasses, a pretty face, and a long brown wig styled by a professional.
In a video shared, the couple is seen walking down the aisle with many guests on either side. They soon arrived at their destination, screaming when they realized that their rich father had bought them a pair of white and black Range Rovers.
Jesse and D’Lila expressed their gratitude by hugging and thanking Diddy many times in surprise. Once they were done honoring the Grammy Award winners, the celebrants hopped into their new cars and honked their horns to the delight of the crowd.
As for the festivities, guests were thrilled by performances from the twin brother, Quincy Combs and singer Coi Leray. The girls also got two three-tiered birthday cakes with the number ’16’ and sparkling candles on them.
Although it seems like it, this isn’t the first time Diddy has shown the world how proud his daughter is of him. In October, The Blast noted that the “I’ll Be Missing You” hitmaker uploaded a photo of herself posing with D’Lila and Jesse in their cheerleading uniforms and pom poms. The photo also includes Quincy, and the rapper’s caption reads in part:
“So proud of my girls at their homecoming performance! The proudest father in the world.”
Although the twins fumbled with their routine – making their father nervous, they ended up slaying during their performance and making him and their late mother even more proud.
The “Bump, Bump, Bump” rapper added four more photos in a subsequent update that showed the teen wearing a matching white strappy mini dress. The duo completed their look with simple stud earrings, necklaces, black-and-white strappy sandal heels and matching black clutch purses.
