The suicide occurred on Saturday, December 3.

ABC 7 reported the incident happened around 9pm PST. Witnesses at the park said tram service was shut down as a result, and park visitors had to walk back to their cars.

Police told ABC 7 The Orange County Coroner’s Office also responded to the scene.

Public Information Officer Shane Carringer of the Anaheim police told Fox News Digital the coroner’s office collects the body.

The man has been identified as Christopher Christensen, a Huntington Beach elementary school principal for 22 years. He is scheduled to appear in court today, December 5, on charges of child endangerment and battery.

He released an apparent social media suicide note before taking his own life in which he denied the allegations.

Taking to Facebook, Christensen wrote, “I hate it when people leave this Earth with so many unanswered questions. So I hope this gives some insight and perspective.”

“They also have security around the area to make sure people don’t linger there,” our source revealed.

Crazy enough, on the same day the incident happened, newly appointed CEO Bob Iger visited the theme park.

Iger was seen accompanied by Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro.

Videos shared to social media showed Disneyland park goers cheering and clapping for Iger. He also spoke to fans one-on-one.

Explosion previously reported Iger returned to Disney last month less than a year after retiring.

On November 20, The Walt Disney Company announced that Disney’s current CEO, Bob Chapek, 62, would step down from his position, and Iger, 71, would return to run the company.

The move will take effect immediately.

According to the report, Iger signed a two-year contract “with a mandate from the Board of Directors to set strategic direction for new growth and to work closely with the Board of Directors in developing a successor to lead the Company when his tenure ends.”

In a report from New York Times, Iger reportedly spoke to different colleagues about Bob Chapek and the Walt Disney Company while he was CEO, even saying Disney “lost its soul” with Chapek as CEO.

“[Bob Iger] bemoaned what he said was Mr. Chapek’s seeming lack of empathy and emotional intelligence, which resulted in an inability to communicate or connect with Hollywood’s creative community. Disney seemed to have lost his soul, he confided to an associate,” their report said.

In addition, Iger reportedly has not heard from Disney for help after the company received backlash because Chapek did not take a strong stand on Florida’s new “Don’t Say Gay” law.

The bill states that “classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties regarding sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through 3rd grade or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students according to state standards.”

follow NYT,”Upset about Mr. Iger’s trash-talking, back at Disney headquarters, the hard-nosed Mr. Chapek responded by chilling Mr. Iger — rather than asking him for advice. Mr. Iger, for example, never got a call for help when Disney was criticized internally and externally this spring for his approach to legislation in Florida aimed at banning classroom discussions of sexual orientation and gender identity through the third grade.”
