Doja Cat Trolls Fans Claiming She’s Been Cloned In Bizarre Video Clips

Doja Cat is back again, lashing out at fans following claims that she’s been cloned. The singer posted a series of videos on Instagram where she grilled fans by acting out a little scene between herself and her supposed cheater.

In recent times, Doja has gained attention for being a controversial figure who is not shy about filming his fans. This has cost him some followers, something the singer doesn’t seem to care about.

In a series of short videos, Doja Cat has tricked fans who claim that she has been cloned by making a funny show between herself and her supposed clone.

“What happened, you guys? This is me, and I’m just watching with you right now, telling you that it’s me, and ahhhh, as far as I know, it’s really me,” Doja said in the first video before letting out a wry laugh.

He added, “So if you guys want to know what’s going on, stay tuned for me because I am me, and I am tonight, and it will be me tomorrow, and it will be me next week… So thank you so much for watching , and look forward to the rest because it’s going to be a really big deal.”

The next two videos saw the singer acting as if the impersonator had made the previous video. He can be seen shouting with a smile on his face, “Not me; it’s really a scam,” and asked fans not to believe his previous claims.

Doja Cat who appeared topless while making the video received a lot of response from social media users because it quickly went viral.

One fan responded, saying, “He loves trolling you’m crying,” while another commented, “Here he is back with new content for us,” along with laughing and crying emojis.

A third person commented, “Doja Cat continues to keep her fans guessing with her unique and playful social media presence.”

Although the video was a clear, albeit funny, gesture from Doja to make it clear that he was still himself, fans were still in disbelief.

“BRING BACK OUR REAL DOJA CAT… THIS ONE IS CANCELED,” said one. Meanwhile, another commented, “She looks cloned, tbh.”

Another said, “That’s what a clone would say,” in reaction to the singer’s video, while a fourth user commented, “But she looks really cloned…”

Rappers Have A History Of Teasing His Fans

This isn’t the first time Doja Cat has been seen spying on her fans online. In May, he tweeted that his first two albums were just attempts to scam his fans so he could make money.

“Planet Her and Hot Pink are cash grabs and y’all love it,” she tweeted., per Mama Mia. “Now I can go disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island while you all cry for mediocre pop.”

More worrying is the fact that he used the social media app Threads to lash out at fans who call themselves “kittenz,” a term apparently derived from his stage name.

“My fans don’t call themselves s—,” she wrote on the app in July. “If you call yourself a ‘cat’ or f—- a ‘cat,’ that means you need to turn off your phone and get a job and help your parents run the house.”

Unsurprisingly, many fans refused to take the disrespect from Doja Cat and proceeded to unfollow him on social media. He reportedly lost over 900,000 followers since the “kittenz” incident, which is almost four percent of his total followers.

However, Doja Cat has not yet apologized to his fans and even doubled his position in a post on his Instagram Story.

“Seeing all these people stop following me makes me feel like I’ve defeated a huge beast that’s been holding me back all this time,” said Doja Cat, per Insider. “It feels like I can reconnect with people who really matter and love me for me and not for me.”

In the meantime, Doja Cat has plans to release a new video and teased the project with a cryptic video a few days ago. It is not clear what the video is about, but some speculate that it is a visual for a song from his latest album.
