Donald Trump Makes Desperate Plea To MAGA Fans To Assist With $464M Fraud Bond As Deadline Approaches

Former President Donald Trump is asking MAGA supporters to help post bonds from his fraud civil suit in New York. In a message through his joint fundraising committee, the former president asked for donations of $20 and up.

Trump also said that he was the victim of a “witch hunt” and that the New York Attorney General was looking into his assets.

According to New York Post, Trump has made a desperate appeal to his supporters to help him post a $464 million bond following the conclusion of his fraud civil suit in New York.

The former president’s appeal, delivered through his joint fundraising committee, urges supporters to donate $20.24 to $3,300 or more as the payment deadline approaches.

In the message, Trump also noted that New York Attorney General Leticia James was after his real estate, with a particular interest in Trump Tower.

Showing his displeasure at the possibility of his property being seized, Trump vehemently declared in the segment, “KEEP YOUR DIRTY HANDS OFF TRUMP TOWER!”

He claims that his legal troubles are a “witch hunt” supported by President Joe Biden, although Biden has previously denied involvement in Trump’s legal matter.

“So before the day is over, I’m calling on ONE MILLION Pro-Trump patriots to join and say: STOP THE JOB HUNTING AGAINST PRESIDENT TRUMP!” the message is also read.

If Trump can’t meet the deadline to post the bonds, James will have the flexibility to seize his property.

The Attorney General of New York previously indicated that he was prepared to use this measure in an interview with ABC News.

“If he doesn’t have the funds to pay the judgment, then we’re going to get the judgment enforcement mechanism in court, and we’re going to have the judge seize his assets,” James said at the time.

He also stated that he was interested in Trump Tower, located at 40 Wall St. high-rise buildings or any of its high-profile urban properties if

He added, “We are ready to make sure that the judgment is paid to the people of New York, and yes, I see 40 Wall Street every day.”

According to reports, Trump has already tried to get bonds from more than 30 firms, but each has turned him down.

His lawyers later filed a motion with the appeals court to help the former president, citing that he was facing “insurmountable difficulties,”

They told the court that the company Trump approached demanded collateral worth about 120% of the total judgment, amounting to $557 million in this case, which they felt was counterproductive.

Lawyers also claimed that Trump would have to pay a 2% annual fee to secure the bond and that it would require a two-year upfront payment of $18 million. This amount will not be returned even if Trump wins his appeal.

Experts have claimed that Trump may have no choice but to sell his property if the appeals court does not intervene in the matter.

“[He is] had to start selling his own properties to get the rest of the money to pay off the bonds,” New York real estate attorney Melissa Levin told New York Post.

“If he does not do so, there is nothing to prevent Letitia James and the state of New York from asking the court to seize certain assets to pay the judgment amount that way,” he added.

Another New York attorney, Imran Ansari, supported Levin’s claims, saying that “the AG will be able to charge any assets of Trump and the Trump Organization, both “domestic and foreign.”

He continued, “The AG can assert a lien against real property, and can file or seek real estate execution asking Trump’s property to be seized and sold with the proceeds used to pay the judgment.”

In the midst of his struggle, a MAGA fan set up a GoFundMe for the billionaire to help pay his huge fine from the New York Fraud trial.

As we previously reported, the Trump GoFundMe started off strong and raised over a million dollars within a week of its creation; however, it stalled at $1.3 million after a month.

Now, in a surprising turn of events, the fundraiser has been revived. It received over $200,000 in donations in the last three days, bringing its current total to $1.6 million.
