Former US President Donald Trump is known for his outspoken views on his social media platform, Truth Social.
This time, he has turned his attention to Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds. Trump made his feelings about the politician known on Monday morning and appeared upset that he had appeared at an event supporting another Presidential candidate.
Donald Trump has never been shy about expressing his feelings
On Monday morning, the former US President appeared to go after Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds for attending an event hosted by other Presidential candidates, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. In a post on Truth Social, he wrote:
“I love Iowa, protected & expanded Ethanol, got 28 Billion Dollars from China for our great Farmers, ended Property Tax (Death!) on farms, made the best TRADE deal in history (USMCA, China, & more), introduced the world to our FARMERS, & maintaining Iowa’s “First in the Nation” status. I opened the Governorship for Kim Reynolds, & when she fell behind, I ENDORSED her, did a big Rally, & she won. Now, he wants to remain “NEUTRAL”. I didn’t invite him to the event! DeSanctus is down 45 points!”
They Both Shared The Stage Several Times During Trump’s Presidency

When Donald Trump was in the White House, the two shared the stage several times. According to the local Iowa CBS affiliate, Reynolds has appeared with other GOP candidates trying to score the party’s nomination for president in 2024. However, Reynolds has vowed not to endorse any candidate in the January caucus.
He was far from alone in that. Many other politicians chose not to support either candidate, which apparently upset the former US President.
“I want to welcome everybody to the state,” Reynolds told the Des Moines Register in February. “And if I take it into account, I don’t know if they’ll feel welcome. But, you know, I’ve made it clear, I’d be happy to help introduce you, help travel the state, connect in any way I can — especially to make sure that if we have something big going on, they know about it.”
