The former first lady made a rare appearance with Trump on Tuesday to cast ballots in Florida’s presidential election.
Melania wore dark sunglasses and a long white dress for the event. He stood by the former president as he answered questions from reporters.
The Slovenian-born former model then hinted at a return to politics when asked if she would join her husband on the campaign trail as he seeks to return to the Oval Office.
The rare appearance comes after his prolonged absence from a third presidential bid since he attended his campaign launch event in November 2022.

He did not attend her election night vigil earlier this month at their Mar-a-Lago resort nor was she by his side at any of his numerous court appearances on several charges.

In a recent revelation through her book, “American Women: The Transformation of the Modern First Lady, From Hillary Clinton to Jill Biden,” New York Times reporter Katie Rogers revealed that after allegations first came out in 2018 that Trump paid hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels, Melania was furious with him.
She was so angry with the former president that she decided not to go abroad with him that time and instead returned to their Mar-a-lago home.
The anger apparently lasted until last March, when Trump was criminally indicted for a hush money deal with Daniels, and Melania allegedly didn’t care if she ended up in jail.

“[FLOTUS press secretary Stephanie] Grisham, who traveled with her on the trip, said the first lady wanted to convey her anger to the president,” Rogers wrote in her book, per Vanity Fair.
The first lady’s press secretary at the time told Rogers that Melania was “in—- on Trump and wanted him to be a little humiliated that he was leaving.”

Melania Trump Is Focused On Their Son Barron

Rogers also offered insight into Melania’s life as a former first lady, revealing that she spends most of her time “meeting with a team of lawyers to go over her assets and deal with matters related to pre- and post-marriage agreements with her husband.”
A Washington Post reporter, Mary Jordan, wrote about the prenup in a biography of Melania, titled “The Art of Her Deal.” Jordan said Melania used her leverage as First Lady at the time to renegotiate the deal and protect the interests of her son, Barron.
“He wanted proof in writing that when it comes to financial opportunities and inheritance, Barron would be considered more on par with Trump’s three eldest children,” Jordan wrote.
Jordan claims in her book that all Melania wants to do is protect her son Barron’s “rightful inheritance.”
He wrote, “According to three people close to Trump, the main reason is that he finally reached a new and improved financial deal with Trump, which has put him in a better financial position. The sources did not know exactly what he sought after, but it’s not just more money.”

When questioned by reporters on Tuesday, Trump revealed who his preferred candidate was, and we weren’t surprised.
“Did someone say who did you vote for?” he said after chuckling. “I voted for Donald Trump.”
Trump also expressed displeasure with his former administration partner, Mike Pence, for not supporting his re-election campaign.
“I don’t care,” he said of the former vice president.
The real estate mogul recently came under fire for his comments about Jewish voters in an interview with his former adviser, Sebastian Gorka.
“Any Jew who votes Democrat hates their religion; they hate everything about Israel, and they should be ashamed of themselves,” he said. “The Democratic Party hates Israel.

Despite his controversial comments, the 77-year-old still believes he has the Jewish vote in the bag.
At Tuesday’s event, he claimed that he was “doing good with Jewish voters.”
Trump also weighed in on his former trade negotiator Peter Navarro’s re-incarceration in a Miami prison after he was convicted of contempt of Congress, calling him a “good guy.”
“He was treated very unfairly,” Trump said of Navarro, adding that he was “a great patriot – a great negotiator for our country.”
Since the start of his campaign, Trump has assured his MAGA supporters that his wife will support him at rallies and events.
The couple’s last public appearance together was nine days ago when the former president met Hungarian Prime Minister and autocratic leader Viktor Orban.
