He led curriculum development efforts during his time there and also served as the Director of Postgraduate Training in Surgery for five years before returning to his practice in 2002.
In 2004, he co-founded Avanade Inc., an IT company that provided services to major companies such as Honeywell International Inc., GE Healthcare, Siemens AG, and Rolls Royce PLC.
