In 2008, he started working in the public health service of the Government of India and was posted in Uttarakhand. During his service with the Indian government, he participated in several polio vaccination drives conducted by the government for children under 5 years of age. For his contribution in the field of Ayurveda, the Indian government awarded him a special certificate.
