The award-winning rapper needs no introduction as one of the most famous musicians in the world. The Canadian heartthrob is widely recognized for incorporating R&B vibes in Hip-hop, a style that makes him stand out from his peers.
Outside of music, the father of one has pursued other business ventures, including founding production company DreamCrew. The “God’s Plan” artist showcased his songwriting skills for his latest gig by releasing his first poetry collection.

The former “Degrassi: The Next Generation” child star ended the week on a high note by introducing her new poetry book. Taking to Instagram on Friday, June 23, the media personality shared two slides featuring a hardcover copy of her written composition.
The bright blue poetry paperback features a full front cover with the title in bold white all caps. The message read: “THE HEADLINE RUINS EVERYTHING. CHANNELS OF AWARENESS BY KENZA SAMIR AND AUBREY GRAHAM.”
For those unaware, the “Hotline Bling” rapper’s birth name is Aubrey Drake Graham. On the other hand, the performer’s co-author, Kenza Samir, is an important contributor to his music. He has received several songwriting credits for songs such as “HYFR (Hell Ya Fucking Right).”
“Title Destroys Everything” features never-before-seen lyrics, poetry and one-liners from the rapper and his longtime partner. According to Grammy winner Drake Related’s website, the collection is published by Phaidon and will be available for purchase for $19.95 starting Saturday, June 24.
However, the “Toosie Slide” rapper noted in his caption that the poetry book will only be sold by exclusive vendors. Commenting on his new project, the 36-year-old wrote: “I don’t know if I’ve ever wanted people to buy or support something more in my life.”
“Our first book available tmrw at @drakerelated and other select retailers,” Drake concluded his message. His post got over 400,000 likes and many fan comments. Many expressed excitement over the collection of poems, while others praised the king of rhythm.
Some of the author’s words ran rampant in the comments section, with the father of one joining in on the fun. “William Shakespeare,” someone chimed in with another: “He rejected Edgar Allan P.” The latter caught the Canadian’s attention as he replied: “You ladies can refer to me as Aubert Munch or Tay-K Rowling, either works.”
Aside from releasing “Titles Ruin Everything,” the AMA winner announced she’ll be dropping a new album. As shared by COMPLEX, the founder of the record label OVO Sound teased the upcoming project by sharing a promotion in several newspapers.
The ad appeared in tabloids such as the New York Times, NY Post, Toronto Star and Los Angeles Times. A QR code in the paper takes fans to a website that reveals the “One Dance” hitmaker’s plans for a new album.
The text on the titlesruineverything.com platform reads: “I made an album to go with the book… They say they miss the old Drake girl. Please don’t tease me. For all the dogs.” As of now, the release date for the upcoming project is yet to be announced.
