A terrified teenage girl discovered she had been raped while drunk at a party in Florida when another teenager shared footage of the pain on social media, police said.
The girl, who has only been identified as between 12 and 18, “became intoxicated until she passed out” in a Sept. 23 confrontation with another teenager who had been drinking under the age of 18 in Plant City, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
“During this vulnerable state, Daniel Brown, 17, raped the unconscious victim,” the sheriff’s office claimed.
Another partygoer, Ethan Eures, 18, filmed the sexual assault and shared it on social media, the statement said.
The next day, “the victim became aware of the sexual battery through a video recording that had been captured by Eures,” the sheriff’s office said.
“He contacted detectives, and both Brown and Eures confessed to their heinous actions.”

Brown was arrested on September 28 on charges of having sex with a person between 12 and 18.
Eures turned himself in at Orient Road Prison the next day on two counts of promoting sexual performance by a child and one count of unlawfully using a two-way communication device, the force said.
“I am disgusted by the actions of this individual who exploited someone in a vulnerable situation,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister.

Eure was released shortly after his arrest on a surety bond, jail records show. Brown’s current status is unclear.
