In a recent interview with The New York Times, Lipa revealed that she is in the final stages of completing her third album, which is slated for a 2024 release. Unlike the usual trend of artists announcing and delaying records, Lipa’s organized approach keeps her on track to meet her deadline. “If I wasn’t as organized as I am, I would be one chaos now,” he shared.

Music producer Bosko Kante is suing Lipa, claiming he used her chat box footage without permission in his hit single “Levitating.” The lawsuit filed in Los Angeles asserts Kante’s right to more than $20 million in profits from the track’s success.
Per ReutersKante argued that although Lipa had permission to use the talk box in the original recording, she violated copyright by including it in the remixes, including the remix of “The Blessed Madonna” and her performance at the American Music Awards.
This isn’t the first time the singer has faced legal challenges over a hit song that spent 77 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Reggae group Artikal Sound System filed a lawsuit in March 2022, claiming the song copied their 2017 song “Live Your Life.” However, the case was dismissed in June.
Another ongoing case involves songwriters L Russell Brown and Sandy Linzer, who claim Dua used the melody from their 1979 song “Wiggle And Giggle All Night.”
