Eamonn Holmes worked for a Dublin-based business magazine before moving into radio. In 1979, he became a presenter and reporter for Ulster Television’s Ulster Farming programme. Following that, he assisted in covering sporting events around the region. In 1982, he became involved in news and current affairs reporting, anchoring Ulster Television’s premiere Good Evening Ulster. Eamonn was the third choice to host the show.
She has presented various Ulster Television programmes, including the Miss Northern Ireland gala, in addition to news and current affairs.
