Charity Lawson took to Instagram to reflect on her experience finding love on “The Bachelor” following her elimination on Monday night’s episode.

Shallcross’s quest to find true love has been a whirlwind; As the lead of “The Bachelor,” Shallcross has faced criticism from Bachelor Nation for the way he handled a confrontation with one of his contestants, and the way he treated another for expressing concerns about their relationship. Bachelor Nation’s Nick Viall recently called out Shallcross’s behavior, stating he has shown mean behavior towards women in recent episodes.
However, Lawson’s assessment of Shallcross in his departure Instagram post does not reflect Viall’s thoughts; read on to find out how Lawson paid tribute to the former ‘Bachelor’ after she was eliminated!
Dealing With The Difficulty Of ‘Bachelor’ Life Is Difficult For Some Participants
Top contender Kaity Biggar recently revealed how she barely dared to find true love on Bachelor Nation; his decision was almost made before he could even think about going to the Bachelor Mansion!
Biggar, who is also from Austin, TX, like Shallcross, recently appeared on an episode of Bachelor Nation’s “Click Bait” podcast and discussed his anxiety about accepting an offer to appear on the show.
The date of the strange museum of Biggar and Shallcross is hardly to be; he told hosts Joe Amabile and Aaron Clancy he initially thought the invitation email was fake!
“And then I’m actually not going to come,” he told the host. “I think it’s when I get the official phone call, like the green light and the thumbs up, I shake my boots. I was like, ‘I don’t think I’m coming. [That’s] doesn’t look good, obviously. So yes. I am very worried.”
How Is Lawson Perceived In The Bachelor Nation?
There is no sign of apprehension when it comes to Lawson’s projected success this season!
Jesse Palmer had high praise for Lawson, who is a child and family therapist. Palmer highlighted Lawson’s personality and dedication to her career field when introducing her to Bachelor Nation.
“It’s easy to see what makes Charity such a great catch,” he said. “With a smile that lights up a room, a great career and a sweet personality to match, Charity is the total package!”
Palmer went on to detail how Lawson’s chosen career path came about within him.
“Jelita Georgia took her name as a call to love and care for people and has built her life around that,” continued Palmer. “Amal is a mental health therapist and is passionate about helping people live their best lives.”
Lawson Reflects On Time Spent While Competing For Shallcross’s Heart
Lawson, himself, was able to live his best life when he received a rose from Shallcross. He was able to advance to the hometown date portion of his season and introduce her to his family and friends. However, at the following rose ceremony, Shallcross finally decided to send her packing.
After Monday’s episode, Lawson posted an Instagram carousel where she shared her thoughts and reflections on her time on Bachelor Country so far.
“Through this journey, I don’t know what I’m in for. But wow, has it been the experience of a lifetime,” Lawson began her post. “I’ve been challenged and pushed to a level of vulnerability that I didn’t know was possible for myself. Through love and grief, I grew as a person through it all, and was able to find the depth of myself, and that is the real victory.”
Lawson then developed the friendships he made with his fellow contestants!
“To the friendships made: a group of supportive and loving girls is a wonderful thing. I couldn’t have gotten this far without you all. The bond we all share with each other is like no other, and I know that I have you all in my corner for life.
Reflecting on his relationship with Shallcross, Lawson continued, “To Zach, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey. You provide a safe space to constantly show grace and mercy, and always allow me to share hidden parts of myself. I wish you nothing but the best for your journey…”
