A former friend of Elisabeth Finch has revealed that the author’s lies are many and some we cannot hear openly.

The disgraced writer’s friends shared more traumatic stories as they were with him starting with his 40th birthday party. Instead of ignoring the lie of her cancer because it didn’t really affect her, she decided to double down at the celebratory party.
“Finchie made an announcement that his doctors from the Mayo Clinic were there but they didn’t want to be identified,” claimed one partygoer. “We all wonder who the doctor is.”
“Of course, no doctor… This is not an uncontrollable lie. A lie that perpetuates the story and makes the party better,” claims an old friend who clearly read the interview Finch gave to ankle.

“His lies were very detailed and profound. He built his career around this lie and made millions of dollars through it. And he doesn’t care who gets dragged in,” said a friend. “Finch is very smart and very talented. He was able to weave his complicated story and keep everything straight.”
Barbara Wiener a documentary filmmaker and someone close to some of Finch’s old insiders explained to New York Post “My friend felt exploited,” she admits. “They have given Finchie a lot of emotional space. Now they are hurt and betrayed.”

The former True descent the writer sat down with the publication’s Ankler who exposed his horrible, “clean” lie about not having cancer and basically never being sick at all just looking for attention wherever he could get it.
He openly blames his poor decision-making on “maladaptive coping mechanisms” that became problematic for him in 2007 after a knee injury. He enjoyed the attention he got from lying down and couldn’t help himself.
Since he missed the attention and immediately thought he was going to fake cancer for more attention. And as he says, “I told a lie when I was 34 and it was the biggest mistake of my life. It just got bigger and bigger and bigger and buried inside me.”

Finch’s cancer lie was just the beginning; he also lied about losing his brother to suicide; he’s actually a doctor in Florida. He also claimed to have lost several dear friends in the synagogue bombing in New York. In reality, he had visited the place of worship in his college days, none of his friends were killed but many loved ones of great people lost their lives and the bombing had a real impact.
Shortly after he was exposed, he was placed on administrative leave Gray’s anatomy and investigated by the HR department at Disney, ABC’s parent company. Brenda Cox, a friend of Finch’s estranged wife Jennifer Beyer exposed more lies than Finch.
“He had commented on his thinning hair,” she remembers. “He helped me clean something that was a bit dirty. I said that I felt bad that he did it. He says he doesn’t mind because he has no sense of smell [due to alleged chemotherapy].”
