Elisabeth Moss has confirmed that she is pregnant with her first child. During a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the “Handmaid’s Tail” actress confirmed the pregnancy and received some quality baby advice from the TV host, who has four children of her own.

During the interview, Kimmel asked Moss, “Are you pregnant or just a very committed method actress?”
She replied, “A little bit of both,” and shared some insight into her pregnancy experience so far. The “Mad Men” star told Kimmel that so far, she’s been “very lucky” with the pregnancy and everything is “going great.”
Rumors of Moss’s actual pregnancy began in December when a photo of her rubbing her swollen belly surfaced online. At the time, he was walking on the set of his latest film project in Los Angeles. Kimmel said, “He said, ‘Bring the Christmas lights to hang up [in the delivery room],’” and reportedly told her to use battery-powered candles. He explained, “Because the lighting in the room was so bad. It’s Walmart-style lighting for this blessed event that’s about to happen, and you don’t want that.”

The happy news about Moss’ pregnancy comes after the tragic death of her father earlier this January. According to reports, his father, Ron Moss, died at the age of 79 after suffering from an undisclosed infection.
The news was released by Ron’s grandson, Max, who said he died peacefully at their home in Clearwater, Fla., surrounded by their family.
The statement read, “Ron made so many friends throughout his rich life and we want everyone to know that you all meant a lot to him. Thank you for everything you have done for him throughout his life.”
Moss himself has not yet publicly announced the death of his father, Ron. Like his daughter, Ron is also a devoted member of the Church of Scientology.
