Elle King was forced to cancel her upcoming show after she fell down a flight of stairs and suffered a concussion.

The Grammy-nominated singer was doing late-night mommy duties when she slipped and literally hurt herself. “Hey everyone, Just wanted to check in with a quick update and apologies to my fans in Tampa, Detroit and Seattle,” she wrote. There are three upcoming shows that he has been promoting on his social media platforms for weeks.
“I share your disappointment that I had to cancel my radio show this week. Nobody wants to pull out of a show, especially me. I live to perform.”
“I slipped down the bottle making stairs in the middle of the night, knocked my butt, resulting in a concussion,” he explained.

At first, the 33-year-old woman refused to cancel her plans, she didn’t want to disappoint her loyal fans but she had to listen to his words and just take a break. “I tried to go on and play 3 shows, but the travel, the lights, everything just made it worse,” he said.

It’s a fact that you definitely shouldn’t be jumping around on stage, dancing under hot flashing lights, and most importantly, traveling especially on airplanes. Following the doctor’s advice, the mother of one chose to sit this one out, for now.
He showed his fans that he is not leaving them high and dry and will be back soon; it’s only three shows! In the meantime, other artists are filling his big shoes.

“I want to thank the artists who came and filled my slot, as well as the radio stations for their understanding and continued support,” he said, noting that there were plans, just not his. He ended his message with a heartfelt thank you.
“I wish you all happy holidays and I can’t wait to come out again next year and sing with you soon,” so 2023 is when he’ll be on the front stage and another year is a few weeks away but, it’s happening.
The wait is actually good because Elle has loads of new material to nail down in 2023. Her next album will be released on January 27th cleverly titled, Let’s Get Your Wife based on something a man yelled at his partner in a bar after he beat him at a game.

This was King’s first full-length album in five years, the single “Try Jesus” was climbing the charts and solidifying King’s place in the country pop genre.
“This whole album and everything revealed more about myself because now I’m more comfortable because I don’t have anything… It’s not that I don’t have anything to prove, because I’ll always prove it to you. I will. I love it,” he shared with People.
“But I’m more open about my life and the part of my life that I’m very protective of, which is where my family is from and where my family still lives in Ohio, and what really makes me who I am. me and what brought me here.”
