The world is still in shock after learning the sad news that beloved DJ and dancer Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss has died by suicide. He is 40 years old.

Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss rose to fame after finishing second on “So You Think Can Dance.” She then worked on “The Ellen DeGeneres” show, where she quickly became a fan favorite.

He was part of the show for several seasons, starting as a guest DJ and moving to executive producer. Yesterday, the host of the show, and his close friend, Ellen DeGeneres, spoke out after learning of his death. Now, she shares some of her favorite memories with ‘tWitch.’

Ellen DeGeneres just shared a video, showing some of her favorite moments with ‘tWitch’ to Facebook.

“Now all I want to do is remember all the love and laughs I had with tWitch,” she wrote in the caption. “He brought so much joy to my life. I know he brings you joy too. I will share some of my favorite moments with him. If you want you can also share yours. #ILovetWitch”

The video shows some moments of Ellen and ‘tWitch’ from the show, which was used as a segment towards the end of the show. Some of the clips included in the montage are when ‘tWitch’ taught Ellen the entire dance routine to “So You Think You Can Dance,” where the two first met, and when ‘tWitch’ first appeared on “The Ellen Show DeGeneres.”

Yesterday, the host of the show released a statement after learning of the death of his co-star.

“I’m heartbroken,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “TWitch is pure love and light. He is my family, and I love him with all my heart. I will miss it. Please send your love and support to Allison and her beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox and Zaia.

After “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” ended its run, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss posted a heartfelt statement, thanking Ellen and the show.

“I will miss this place of love, laughter and family that I have been able to experience for the past 9 years,” he wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “Today’s episode of @theellenshow was so special and so surprising to me. Here are some snapshots of the moments we shared about our time together and the bond that has been forged. This show has changed my life in so many ways. I already miss you all. In jest. Games. The dance. Laugh. And the unforgettable inspirational stories we get to witness about amazing people doing amazing things.”

She concluded with, “Tomorrow is officially the show’s final air date so I’ll save my “goodbye” message for then. Thank you again and I love you to my friend Ellen. Thank you to the legendary staff who made the magic happen happens every day. There is a special place in my heart for you all.”

Death ‘tWitch Orders Suicide

According to the coroner’s office report, which is now closed, an autopsy on Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss has been completed, although the autopsy report will not be released for several more weeks, and the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head, by suicide.

The place of death was in an LA hotel. He is 40 years old.
