Goulding recently discussed the trauma she went through as a result of past allegations that she had an affair with Niall Horan while she was linked to Ed Sheeran.
“Attracting many people who are interested in that. It happened nine years ago,” he said Daily Mail in an interview on Sunday, per Many people. “You know, honestly, it traumatized me a lot, actually.”
The rumor recently resurfaced after the singer posted a TikTok video of herself dancing along to Harry Styles’ “As It Was.”
One fan wrote in the comments section, “Can’t believe you cheated on Ed with Niall, but killed fr (for real).” Goulding responded by denying the claims saying, “Wrong!!!!! But also killing.”
Although the singer admitted to the outlet that she was “really drunk” when she responded to fans, she shared that at the height of the rumors, she was “made to feel like a terrible person,” despite realizing that people’s opinions of her were on the subject. is false.

“We have known each other for several years. I think he’s a really nice guy and a brilliant musician. We’ve bumped into each other, and we’ve hung out and stuff, but the thing is if I hang out with someone, it’s instantly like I’m dating them,” Goulding said of Sheeran. “We’ve never been in a relationship.”

Goulding is set to drop a new album for fans, which will debut on March 24 across music platforms, according to New York Post.
Titled “Higher Than Heaven,” all the details about the song’s name are still unknown, although it is claimed that the project has a track inspired by the singer and her husband’s sex life.
The X-rated single is titled “Waiting For That.” It reportedly has risqué lyrics like, “We can f–k the world away, I’ve been reformed to a new position” and “Pour you in my cup, let it drip on my fingers / But it’s never enough, I want more.”
According to the publication, Goulding described the upcoming album as “about passionate love. But it’s an exaggerated form of love, almost like a drug-induced feeling.”
