Elon Musk is reportedly suing his ex-girlfriend Grimes for parental rights to their children before the singer files her own petition.
The Tesla founder stated in court documents that he has sponsored and cared for the children since their birth. He also accused Grimes of trying to evade Texas law by lying about his residence.

According to new reports, Elon Musk secretly sued his ex-girlfriend Grimes, real name Claire Boucher, for parental rights to their three children before the Canadian singer filed her own petition.
In court documents, Musk stated that he intends to create a written agreement with Grimes regarding conservatorship, ownership, and access to their children, each Page Six. However, if they cannot reach a middle ground, X’s owner wants the court to take appropriate legal action.

On September 29, Grimes filed a petition for the parental rights of Techno, X and Exa. Previously, he was allegedly given the paper by Musk on September 13.
Court documents obtained by Insider indicated that Grimes is seeking a “standard restraining order” against Musk to ensure the children cannot be taken out of California. He also asked for physical custody of the children.
Her claim came after she cried in public to be allowed to see her youngest child. In a now-deleted tweet, Grimes asked her ex-boyfriend to stop keeping Techno from her. He then tagged Shivon Zilis, with whom Musk shares a twin, and asked the author to “unblock” him.
Grimes wrote, “Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or please fire my lawyer.” She added that the billionaire turned a deaf ear to her requests to see their children. “I have never been allowed to see a picture of this child until now, even though it has really torn my family apart,” Grimes said.
