Elon Musk’s comments were filled with anger, hate, love, suspicion, gratitude, and all possible emotions after he posted a Thanksgiving message. It’s mostly hate because followers want to know how exactly, he could have the gall to congratulate his followers when he just laid off more than half the employees at “old Twitter” before the holidays.
Twitter’s new owner is accused of mocking those who were laid off and people still on Twitter who couldn’t stand him but refused to leave. “I’m thankful for TikTok and not this rubbish platform”
Some followers told him the group of people who won’t be enjoying the holiday this year are “fired Twitter workers who won’t. But we are moving.”

Who would have thought that two little words that both have delightful meanings on their own and even more so put together could cause so much drama?
“Elon, I’m really offended that you know you can talk to me now. thanksgiving? You ruined my holiday season with your purchase twitter. And then to overturn the criminal Trump ban!? I’m going to move to Mexico and switch to Tumblr. Unreal,” wrote one follower who refused to wish the billionaire a happy Thanksgiving.
One follower pleaded with those who commented hatefully not to fall into the trap they thought Musk was trying to set. “It’s sad that this is meant to inflame liberals, rather than being sincere.”

There were also a lot of people reminding Musk that he was just doing bad things to a lot of people. Musk laid off some of the company’s employees after he took over. He simply stated that they are in line with the new guidelines, or they can leave. Some go, and others stay.
Now, apparently, those who remain are also experiencing mass layoffs, and here goes Musk sending his best wishes. Some people refuse to let him go just like that.

“On the evening before Thanksgiving, several Twitter engineers received emails saying they were fired because “their code was unsatisfactory. Others received a “performance warning” email asking them to “restore our confidence and show your contribution to the team”
“You fired a bunch of people yesterday who had enough faith in Twitter 2.0 that they stayed on board. They were given 1 month severance as opposed to the 3 months given to people who just left when given the option. You are punishing them for believing in your Twitter vision,” said another disappointed follower.
Surprisingly, People Still Respect Elon Musk

The mogul doesn’t respond to any hate for obvious reasons but that’s okay because he has people who believe in him and wants all kinds of smoke from the Twitter heat directed at entrepreneurs but most importantly, protects the mogul from having to respond to hate.
“What is your favorite part of thanksgiving?” asked one follower with genuine use of the smiley emoji. A lot of people want to know the answer to that, actually.

“You have to love the interaction and relative accessibility of @ElonMusk on this forum. I don’t remember such activity from that weird Jack,” wrote another.
