Tarek & Heather Rae El Moussa are counting their wins, as the HGTV stars tell fans they recently scored a mini victory in their family.
Using a joint post, Heather informed fans that she finally got a family portrait five months after giving birth to her son Tristan. It’s worth noting that the little one, who was born in January, joins Tarek’s other children, Taylor and Brayden, from his former marriage to ex-wife Christina Hall, to make up the El Moussa family of five.

The “Selling Sunset” star proved that any goal can be achieved with a cute family photo she recently uploaded on Instagram. The photo shows the doting mother-of-one and her loved ones posing together, with Tarek standing between her and Taylor while Brayden remains in the middle. Baby Tristan is in his mother’s arms on the right.
They all looked casual and flashed charming smiles except for Tristan, who looked stunned— The pre-teen daughter wore a green mini dress, while her seven-year-old brother wore blue shorts and a pastel blue short-sleeved T. -blouse.

Meanwhile, the actress wore dusty denim with a chrome-like bomber jacket layered over a white vest while the toddler wore a gray striped onesie with gray socks and a nursing bib around her neck. The father of three opted for a white round neck shirt with a red design and dark colored shorts with a black baseball cap.
The background of the post shows that the parents were in a restaurant when they posed for the picture. However, the real estate agent captioned the post with a direct statement in which she hinted that the photo was the most satisfying family portrait they had taken since Tristan was born. In the caption the proud mother wrote:

For the uninitiated — tongue tie is medically referred to as ankyloglossia, and it occurs when the strip of skin that connects a baby’s tongue to the bottom of their mouth is shorter than normal.
Via her Instagram Story, the “Love in the Time of Monsters” actress revealed that her son had to undergo a “tongue-tie checkup,” which hurt “his mama’s heart.”

“We had a checkup when he was a week and a half old. Unfortunately, underneath,” said “The Flipping El Moussas” star, pointing to the bottom of his tongue before saying, “it’s really tight again and it’s not getting any better, even after doing all the exercises. We get bodywork all the time and stretching.”
Heather, who was close to tears in the clip, also stated that even though she knew the procedure was the “best” option for her in the long run, she still felt upset and sad that it would hurt her.

Even in the midst of Tristan’s medical challenges and Tarek’s busy schedule, fans can always find the “Flip or Flop” alum doting on his kids. Before his wife shared their son’s upcoming surgery, the 41-year-old bravely expressed the kind of father he wanted for his children, as reported by The Blast.
She shared two beautiful pictures of herself cuddling with her newborn baby. Tarek’s little one wore a striped and cream army green onesie with a white bib around the neck while he wore a black T-shirt and dark jeans with simple accessories.
In the caption, the real estate mogul admitted that his wife and kids are all he’s been looking forward to after days of leaving them to be involved in business. He bluntly wrote:
“The last few weeks have been crazy with The Flipping Summit, the premiere of Flipping 101, and speaking at the UWM expo, but between events and talks, all I look forward to doing is spending time with Tay, Bray, Tristan, and Heather. They are everything to me, and they are what I do everything for ??.”
