The season 2 contestant on the hit Netflix reality series “Too Hot To Handle” took to Instagram to share the news that she’s teaming up with SHEIN to release her own swimwear line, including the pink floral bikini she’s wearing!

The Netflix reality star took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the good news with her Instagram followers. In the photo, Emily’s long dark hair draped over one shoulder as she posed in a pink floral print bikini. She topped off her look with a pink blouse which she wore open to show off her bikini, along with a silver body chain that matched her dangling silver earrings.
“You guys!! I’m so excited to announce my swimwear collection with @shein_gb will launch on April 27th!” he wrote in the caption. “We have been working closely together on this campaign for a long time, so we are finally sharing it with you all. I am excited to also announce that we will be donating a percentage of the profits to a charity that I will announce soon.” She closed her post with the hashtag #SHEINXEmilyMillerad.
Some of his famous fans and friends are excited about his collaboration. “Too Hot To Handle” actress Carly Lawrence commented “OMGGGG” along with a handful of heart eye emojis. Another star, Christina Carmela, commented, “Go goooo love. Well done boo!” “Love Island” reality star Millie Grace Court commented, “Look at YOU!!!”
Not All Fans Are Happy To See Emily Team Up With SHEIN!

While some fans are happy to see Emily’s career take off, not everyone is happy that she decided to collaborate with SHEIN. “Girls not SHEIN.. the brand is problematic in every possible area,” commented one fan. “Bad brand to support…that’s disappointing,” wrote another follower. “I really admire you and your life. I really do. but some with ‘animal lover’ in their bio shouldn’t be working with SHEIN,” a third fan chimed in.
“Love your success and love you with all my heart. But working with SHEIN ‘high waste textile manufacturer’. You as a person who supports the earth and animals doing a Collaboration with a brand that knows nothing about the earth makes me think smthn smthn girl why?” another follower asked. “Literally they support animal cruelty… he claims to be against it,” another fan responded.
While many fans seem to be against her, there are also those who can’t wait to shop her new swimwear collection. “Omg I get it,” commented one fan. “Omggg just in time for my vacation,” another follower shared. “Sorry that BOD,” said another fan. “You guys are amazing,” gushed another follower. “That was amazing. Congratulations,” another fan shared.
Why Are Fans Against Shopping At SHEIN?

According to Ethically Dressed, there are many reasons to avoid shopping at SHEIN. The fast fashion brand was launched in 2008 and started to thrive during the COVID-19 pandemic and started going viral on TikTok for their cheap prices. As Ethically Dressed notes, these prices are “unrealistically low” and are only achieved by using low-quality synthetic fabrics such as polyester and nylon, which can decompose over decades.
According to a November 2021 report from Public Eye, most workers at SHEIN factories work 75 hours a week, six days a week. Workers interviewed from these small, unregulated factories reportedly received no overtime pay. They are, however, reportedly paid per item, which is why SHEIN is able to produce so many clothes at such a low price.
Many fans expressed concern about animal cruelty. According to Good On You, the brand uses fur, down, exotic animal fur, decorative fur and silk. It is also not transparent about its supply chain and does not say where it receives these items from, raising many concerns about animal cruelty.
